a lot can be said about tanking in Seattle, lady luck Rip City takes Oden and leaves Durant, and the graces that draft Westbrook and Harden. All good.
More often than not, the little things add up:

1. June 26, 2008: Selected Russell Westbrook (1st round, 4th pick), Serge Ibaka (1st round, 24th pick), Walter Sharpe (2nd round, 32nd pick), DeVon Hardin (2nd round, 50th pick) and Sasha Kaun (2nd round, 56th pick) in the 2008 NBA Draft.

8 seasons of Ibaka service then......

2. June 23, 2016: Traded Serge Ibaka to the Orlando Magic for Ersan İlyasova, Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis.

3. November 1, 2016: Traded Ersan İlyasova and a 2020 1st round draft pick to the Philadelphia 76ers for Jerami Grant. (2020 1st-Rd pick is Top-20 protected & turns into 2022 & 2023 2nd-rd picks if not conveyed)
4. July 6, 2017: Traded Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis to the Indiana Pacers for Paul George.
5. July 8, 2019: Traded Jerami Grant to the Denver Nuggets for a 2020 1st round draft pick. (top-10 protected)
6. July 10, 2019: Traded Paul George to the Los Angeles Clippers for Danilo Gallinari, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, a 2021 1st round draft pick, a 2022 1st round draft pick, a 2023 1st round draft pick, a 2023 1st round draft pick, a 2024 1st round draft pick, a 2025 1st round draft pick and a 2026 1st round draft pick. (2021 first-round pick is MIA's unprotected pick.) (2023 first-round pick is MIA's pick, top-14 protected.) (Right to swap with LAC.) (Right to swap with LAC.)

It all started with 24th pick in Ibaka.
All teams have along history of mistakes. Looking at Presti he has a ton of them. Its not what did not work that matters, but the smaller % that does, and what did the team do?
Presti and the long view has kept them relevant in the playoffs, finals appearance, a strong fan base in a small market, and a very bright future. They lost the trade when they got George from Indy but I think they did fantastic in resigning him then Trading the clippers for their future.

Presti to NY or Chicago? Man, just sitting on that treasure trove of picks has to be worth something!!! LOL

Paul is in town, we get all Lean rumors with all ex clients when we play them? Good thing only 20 games left!!! Go knicks!!!
