Looks like he finally found his game - see a little bit of Giannis in him... long, can go coast to coast and decent outside shooter. Still very raw but his contract expires this off-season. May be worth looking into if the Knicks pass on making a run at Brandon Ingram... Unsure what he would cost - anybody have an idea?
If we could pair him with a vet (Gallinari), move Randle to the bench (or trade if possible) and find a starting caliber PG we'd be looking good for next season.

We signed Miles Plumlee to a 3-4 year contract instead of Wood. The only way you can check a prospect is to look back 3-5 years especially 2 rounders. It’s going to cost well over 10 mm to sign woods/- think about what we gave Portis Gibson et al. If u look at the Pistons. How do they not pay a 6-11 athletic F who plays both sides and can hit 3s
5 seasons and played 112 games in the NBA. 61 this season on a really bad Detroit team.
We never had Miles plum, we had the “War”, the youngest. I don’t think it was a 3-4 year deal. He came and went via Gleague.
Wood has been a Gleague player mostly and the timeline of when you would have signed him he was not very good.
He has had some “Breakout” game perhaps???

Yeah i'm on the Gallinari train. He's older and injury prone, but that guy is a winner. And the knock down shooter we need in the lineup next to Barrett and Mitch.

At this point I wouldn't add Morris. I was a fan of keeping Morris if we moved Randle, but since he's been gone the Knicks haven't really struggled as much as I thought. Barrett is stepping up in his place. But i'll sign Gallinari and the other forward spot is there for Knox if he eventually steps up and grabs it.
I like that Knox is getting more time. Blocking shots and rebounding, steel here or there too!!
We have seen the shots fall. That comes back. His moves to the rim are stronger. It will occur.
Phuch Gallo and Morris and what guys 30 have done. Not easy is getting guys before they do it.
In the moment is what is knox doing over smaller increments. I see him as more active. Turnovers are part of it.
He is trying new things. Sometimes he over thinks it and spazz's out. Other its jut there.
The cross over and dipsy do by frank. Dude is finally getting it out of his head and just letting loose.
Gets the rebound, steps back and hits the three. Don't think. Just do.
THese young guys can play. They lack the confidence but also need the reps.

The point would have been his age, length, two-way player and recent upswing could have possibly translated to picking up a nice find. Athletically he can do some things that few can... that said, I knew nothing about his mental makeup and if he's terrible in the locker room - then it's an easy pass. I thought he wasn't sticking b/c of inconsistency. Per others, I was wrong.

Robinson was generational player.
Knicks did same thing as Lakers but where is our Kobe?
Vet presence like Gibson or Lance Tomas is good but giving 15-20 mils per contract for this "presence" is dumb.
Knox development has nothing to do with Morris. He has his own issues to overcome.
