Maybe they could scrap the season but having a mini tournament to decide the draft order (for non-playoff teams, pick order or odds determined by winning), and one for 8th seed in the west (a few teams could have overtaken the Griz).
I think they'll wait for the test results- if more players have the Virus, then it's game over for a long while. If no one else is infected they might try the fans-free game approach the Warriors were about to do.
I too am struggling to think how you do this fairly. The NHL is probably going to do the same thing, and the Rangers are 2 points out of a playoff spot. I would probably just use the standings as of today to determine the playoffs, but you're telling me that's fair, especially when the Rangers haven't played as many games as everyone else?

To salvage the season, when everything stabilizes, they should have a tournament that includes all teams with an outbracket type situation where lower teams can have a chance to get into the tournament.

At this point, I think the season is done and they will do the playoffs without the fans. The Knicks currently have the sixth worse record, so if we pick no worse that 8th, we should get a decent pg prospect.

It can take up to 14 days for some people to show signs. Plus, Mitchell is from Westchester and was with family and friends recently. For all we know, Mitchell could've been the one to transmit the virus to Rudy.

I bet Rudy wasnt taking it serious. Just like most people I talk to at work. It's not serious until you get infected. It's like raising children. Sometimes they need to feel the heat, to understand it's hot. The problem this time is this heat will kill you! Until somebody finds a cure. And when they do, it's going to be so expensive, people will continue to die, just like when HIV hit....And everybody was like, how is Magic Johnson still alive, but others have died.
This is crazy. I want to go to the gym, but now I'm like, maybe I should quarantine myself, since me and my son went to the knicks game in DC recently.
