Knicks say owner Jim Dolan has tested positive for coronavirus. He has been in self-isolation and is experiencing little to no symptoms. He continues to oversee business operations.

This virus doesn't play favorites. Hopes this sheds more of a light on the need for social distancing. I know JD is a lightening rod, but let's try to stay away from the sell the team jokes...until he recovers

In the “sell the team” department a thought to ponder: Becareful what you wish for. A debt strapped owner might not have the fortitude long term and could panic expanding the knicks bad luck. While that’s hardly a vote of confidence it does highlight a few positives:
1. He has the money to see this thru.
2. He is motivated. He hates the public reaction to him and his actions. Perhaps obsessed. Not sure thats a good thing.

Perhaps in the odd chance he should expire the team might be in turmoil during a lengthy sale process.
Nalods point? It can always be worse. Like the trump administration is finds new lows, perhaps as a sports team there is but so far it can. Odd enough we were still some teams worse than us. GSW not included as they were devastated by injury.

I’m rooting for a Dolan redemption. Why? Knicks would then be classified as a success.

You had to figure a few douchebags would post their glee at Dolan having the virus. It's like the couple of jerk offs on your subway car -- best thing is to move to another car.

Say what you want but Dolan is doing the right thing by his employees. Hope he and everyone who is sick gets well.

I agree. This virus is no joke you must stay inside and make sure if you must go out be careful. When you come home make sure you take off your cloths and take a shower and put you cloths in the wash.

Been off the board for a few days. Just saw the news that James Dolan has it. I am glad that most are hoping for his recovery. I had a good client die last week from the virus. I assume that I am healthy enough to survive it, but you never know and it does not look like a pleasant way to die. We all have to be smart and hope that, notwithstanding the idiot in the white house, the medical experts can solve this problem with some type of cure.

I hope he gets better soon.

I also hope he realizes that he is a clown show and he needs to sell the team.
