He's certainly doing a full court press on the PR front

Yeah because they hope by making it seem inevitable everybody stops voicing their real complaints on both Thibs coaching style and the process he is being hired by. Favoritism has been one of the knicks defining and consistent root problems and here it goes again.

His rehab? From what? Did I miss something? Why is he on a PR tour?

I think Atkinson will end up as the Bull's coach- would make a lot of sense for both parties

Jerry was a knucklehead as a player, but he's shown promise as a coach. He might be what players like Knox need. Not sure he come in just to be an assistant, but I'm not mad at him being under consideration.

My favourite Knick coach of recent times- right guy at the right time, though his complete lack of adjustments were maddening as was his sole end of game play (iso Melo). Still, one of the few coaches we've had in the past 20 years who actually was likeable and who didn't seem like an a-hole

You sure you willing to sit through switching defense and ISO ball with Randle replacing Melo

LOL! I don’t actually want him to be our new coach, but I do wish him well- happy to have him as an assistant

Time to rank em:
JVG Atkinson Thibs Calpari Miller Woody
Doesn’t look like JVG is an option though. Plus Woj tweeted that we’re about to start our search and Thibs is the strong favorite, so looks like it’s Thibs.

Doesn’t seem like the best of the best, does it, but then again who is available that would be great?

Who spent all their time compiling these?!

Woodson is a lead assistant now with Rivers on a a team poised to contend. Why take the same gig in NYC as an assistant? He wants the head coach gig I would think. He deserves an interview for his work in ATL and clipper land. Van Gundy or Jax.......has time passed them by? Van Gundy has not coached an NBA team in 13 years?? Mark Jax has sentimental value I get it. The whole GSW thing with the assistant coach was a bad look. Also this.....http://.https://www.mercurynews.com/2012... fans blasted fischer for his indiscretions. Jax got some also.
It was Coleman, a gospel singer/actress, who filed the papers. She and Jackson, who’s also a minister at the True Love Worship Center International in Reseda, California, have been married for 27 years.
Well, it is the "True Love Worship Center"I Why does him being a pastor and not walking the walk bother me? Tax scheme? Hypocrisy?
If Thibs is considered for Rockets, then is MDA available? If we fired Woodson and again interview, should we bring back MDA? Larry Brown? Phuck it, lets dive deep and bring back Hubie Brown!!!! He was successful here. Thibs for Nets? Their season is not done but who is the front runner there? They should consider MDA. I see Tyrone Lue there.

Berman seems to think JVG will go to Houston- think he's probably right about that, it would be a much better fit for him than we would be.
Also listening to Knicks Film School podcast, they seem pretty sure This is going to be coach (said something about how the media usually know a lot more than they're allowed to say)
