They posted today. Straight up for:
Knox
dennis
Knicks 1st rd pick 2021.

Before I jump to it I need to know more about a 27 year old who tears a quad. Not sure about the nature of this injury. I want to know who our coach is and if its the lower of our two picks for next year or not. Where if any is it protected. Then we have to consider he gonna want a nice contract.

Im not vested in Dennis like I am Knox, Frank and RJ. He is a restricted free agent after this year. I can't ascertain his value as I don't know his back issue.

In the year where HS kids are coming out I like having two picks in first round. Might draft one and develop.
Im not ready to give up on Knox. When I read about his statistical regression I get it, but I also know he was improving other facets. Its nice click bait and easy to type but I know what I saw his rookie year and what happened this past season.

Also important is who and where we draft this season. If 6th we taking a guard to compliment? Best player available at any position? What are other trades we do also.
There is a chess game to be played with moves and counters if they are pulled off. Kind of takes the fun out of trade click bait. Victor is a good player and has a lot at stake this next season. Does Indy want him long term or is it price based? They are small market team, they can't risk losing him for nothing.

Also to note: Victor just turned 28, will be 29 during the last year of his contract (next year), 30 if/when you re-sign him.

Shooting guard who is not entirely a dead-eye outside shooter who will undoubtedly lose his first step in the meat of his next contract. Takes away minutes from RJ?

Hard pass for me.

Same here. I love his game but age and his perimeter game suggests he will be in a decline on his next contract

Since he in an Indy uni, doesn't he just morph into Darren Collison?
Darren BTW is just 32! How is it possible he only 4 years older than Victor??
Oh wait, doesn't a Mills hater chime in that we get Olidipo because of the Scott Perry connection?

No don’t do this trade.2021 is a really good draft. That will definitely be something the Knicks would regret

A player at that stage of his career needs to shoot a higher percentage from 3, on top of that injury concerns too? Nope.
