we can catalog all of KP's subpar games but we should also be mindful that KP's worst day is superior to DSJ's best day and it's going to get even worse.
In fact THJ's days are better than DSJ's
Sure hope those two late firsts (which is what they will be) balance it out some

MIN FG 3PT REB AST PF PTS

More importantly..They Got the W
But no one brought up the fact he got the L in those high scoring games he had earlier.

Hey! He's a key piece! Luka's the key and KP is a piece! of... shit.
0-7 from 3! Beast mode! 7'3" and 7 whole rebounds and 0 whole blocks! While fouling out!
He's the key!

2021 could be affected by there maybe not being a season (maybe they go for a crazy lottery of all teams, or do odds based on average record over the past few seasons), or an injury to Doncic or KP. Or, if next season does go ahead, how will they hold up with essentially no offseason after this playoff bubble? KP usually gets fatigued after half a normal season. Even if it's a middle-ish 1st, it might help us move up. I just hope we don't trade it, it still has some potential (though as you said it could end up being a late first, albeit in a deep draft)
anyone watching Dallas Milwaukee?

This is what I never got with KP- he's a giant, his shooting stroke looks great, but he had so many games where he shot poor percentages
Worst trade in franchise history. You better pray KPs knees explode annually because that’s all that is holding him back from greatness. Odds are he stays relatively healthy because most great players do. Knicks fucked up this situation so badly I can’t even express it without puking all over my iPhone. The fact that some fans actually defend this trade just illustrates how damaged some Knicks fans truly are. Monumentally bad trade. We got 3 slices of shit for the best (Top3) stretch big in the nba when stretch bigs are 24K gold. And he’s barely old enough to drink. My god Knicks. If you called Dallas and asked them to trade KP for double what they gave up they’d laugh you off the phone.

KP really had nothing to do with that win... luka is a beast not KP. If Luca goes out with a injury, we will have a lotto pick for sure.... KP is a side piece and will never be a super star . A possible star yes a superstar makes everyone better and KP doesn’t make teammates better
Even with Luka, it s going to be difficult to be in the playoffs next year. Warriors are coming back, Portland get nurkic and Collins back. Even nola will improve if they fire Gentry.
Luka is already a monster, he cannot improve at the same rate he has every year.

Nope, Eddy Curry (for Joakim Noah in his Prime & LaMarcus Aldridge in his prime) trade and the Camby & Amar'e Stoudamire for broken Antonio McDyess are still way way worse- each of those trades essentially traded an all star PF AND a Defensive Player of the year candidate for unplayable permanently injured players, they ruined the decade.
KP trade can't be fully determined until we see what the picks become (and the cap space), and if KP's health holds up.

It took a long time for the Eddy trade to fully marinate into the disaster that was. Even the moment it was done.......Unprotected picks for a guy the Bulls were trying to buy out via retirement because he was abusing ephedra. I can see how Isiah thought “How this this team be lottery with the roster he built but was he ever wrong!
Any way you look at the KP deal it’s regrettable. Fault or circumstance don’t matter. Both Team presidents in charge of KP, both Phil and mills are gone.
Like i said before portland, spurs, and warriors will be back in the playoffs in 2021 barring injuries will take places of okc and mavs. If portland was healthy all season long they would been top 4 seed same with warriors.

With Pelicans and Suns as wild cards. West gonna be tough
He wanted out. Say that to yourself before you puke on yourself again.
He didn't play for the better part of his tenure here.
He's an A-grade douche bag with rape allegations and a brother who makes Jimmie Dolan look like Mahatma Gandhi.
And he just scored 26 points on 24 shots. And at 7'3" he got one whole block. While getting outrebounded by Batman.
Thankfully GreekFreak can't shoot threes to save his life or Dallas would have gotten another L as well.
In other news, Melo just shot 50% from 3 and used 13 shots to score 20. And grab 7 rebounds and make 2 steals.
Hey, Uncle Nalod, Boo!
Maybe that's the trade that sucked worse...

If you have not noticed I have been complimenting Melo. Bad trade? Hardly. Took Two years for Melo to figure out Mother Nature is his mouth breathing succubus and until he respected her she did not put out. OKC Melo? Was not pretty. Rocket Melo did not make it 20 games. Plant based skinny melo as a 3rd option with injury depleted Portland was pretty good. With a healthy Portland he is Very good from what I have seen. He still holds to ball too much but its working.
I’m not going to demonize KP as an adolescent trying to guard my feelings by caring about his off court antics. He wanted out and it sucked. He leveraged himself to get his money and reduced his value. That sucked. Knicks did not help themselves either. That sucks.
Boo.
this horse is dead... KP is a special talent but I personally think he is a frail ass bitch. Fuck you, Janis

You need to work on your sarcasm sensor. I realize I left out the smilie on that line about the trade, but I'm obviously just playing along with the game by game love/hate theme of this thread. Haven't seen a lot of Melo compliments from anyone lately, but then, I'm not reading very closely either. Mostly all the Melo mentions I see are the same old "we got raped by Dolan's stupidity by giving too much to Denver..." SkinnyCowMelo seems to have found a place where his penchant for clutch threes and standing on the perimeter waiting for kick outs from that derangely talented backcourt are appreciated.
Your misogynistic analogies are working though. Ma Nature as a mouth breathing succubus. Classic.
I'm not sure I understand how the Knicks did not help themselves. Effed up hiring Fugazydale as coach to lure a real alpha to the team? Maybe Zinger didn't like the idea of ending up not being face of the Franchise? Maybe after pissing on Phil Jax he wasn't going to stand around in a suit and wonder whether the new regime was going to get him some help worthy of his uni-corniness? Brother Janus feeding him too much superdupermax vitamin supplements during rehab? Not a Mills or Perry fan, but what were they supposed to do? Get some team to ignore the mirror test and get a Brandon Ingram or a Devon Booker for continually broken one season wonder? I could bother to go back and review the threads, but I doubt anyone at the time knew DSJr was going to be this level of sub-basement bad flameout.

Triple was my muse!
No Kp or luka tonight, no problem for the mavs as they still beat a good Jazz team.
Goes to show you what type of talent they are surrounded with.

Look at the box score, the starters minutes, the lack of Mitchell even playing.
Can't draw any conclusion. You wonder why your cred suffers. Same for Toronto vs. Bucks. Toronto held out its players.
Gianis did not play.
