He didn't play for the better part of his tenure here.
He's an A-grade douche bag with rape allegations and a brother who makes Jimmie Dolan look like Mahatma Gandhi.
And he just scored 26 points on 24 shots. And at 7'3" he got one whole block. While getting outrebounded by Batman.
Thankfully GreekFreak can't shoot threes to save his life or Dallas would have gotten another L as well.
In other news, Melo just shot 50% from 3 and used 13 shots to score 20. And grab 7 rebounds and make 2 steals.

If you have not noticed I have been complimenting Melo. Bad trade? Hardly. Took Two years for Melo to figure out Mother Nature is his mouth breathing succubus and until he respected her she did not put out. OKC Melo? Was not pretty. Rocket Melo did not make it 20 games. Plant based skinny melo as a 3rd option with injury depleted Portland was pretty good. With a healthy Portland he is Very good from what I have seen. He still holds to ball too much but its working.
I’m not going to demonize KP as an adolescent trying to guard my feelings by caring about his off court antics. He wanted out and it sucked. He leveraged himself to get his money and reduced his value. That sucked. Knicks did not help themselves either. That sucks.

You need to work on your sarcasm sensor. I realize I left out the smilie on that line about the trade, but I'm obviously just playing along with the game by game love/hate theme of this thread. Haven't seen a lot of Melo compliments from anyone lately, but then, I'm not reading very closely either. Mostly all the Melo mentions I see are the same old "we got raped by Dolan's stupidity by giving too much to Denver..." SkinnyCowMelo seems to have found a place where his penchant for clutch threes and standing on the perimeter waiting for kick outs from that derangely talented backcourt are appreciated.

I'm not sure I understand how the Knicks did not help themselves. Effed up hiring Fugazydale as coach to lure a real alpha to the team? Maybe Zinger didn't like the idea of ending up not being face of the Franchise? Maybe after pissing on Phil Jax he wasn't going to stand around in a suit and wonder whether the new regime was going to get him some help worthy of his uni-corniness? Brother Janus feeding him too much superdupermax vitamin supplements during rehab? Not a Mills or Perry fan, but what were they supposed to do? Get some team to ignore the mirror test and get a Brandon Ingram or a Devon Booker for continually broken one season wonder? I could bother to go back and review the threads, but I doubt anyone at the time knew DSJr was going to be this level of sub-basement bad flameout.
