Draft is still scheduled in October, but expected to be pushed back. NBPA in memo sent to agents tonight: “All other dates related to the 2020-21 Season are likewise postponed to dates that will later be agreed upon by the NBA and NBPA.“

They are trying to manufacture a draft pecking order that has some plausibility.
They are in a panic because the lottery order numbers are meaningless as projections yet binding for locking in salaries.
What will happen is something like a money laundering scheme to funnel money to certain agents whose 'clients' will get top billing.
The draft order is likely getting cooked already. Our later picks are gold given the gaming of this lottery.

I hope this doesn't drag into mid November. End of October is fine. But i too am impatient. Too much time for speculation, i just want to see what we do this off-season.
maybe they want a bubble combine? provide a way to safely do individual workouts with draftees?
Time to figure out a plan for next season?
