Not sure. Jerami Grant is another guy I'd like to sign. Throw Gallinari in there two.

If this is what is involved, for me the answer is a clear NO, regardless of the player involved unless it is a Kawhi Leonard or someone of that standing.

Jonathan Marci seemed to imply that we’d consider him but were not throwing big money (implied his agent was just hyping up the Knicks interest as a bargaining move to pressure the wiz To offer more

I was hopeful for grant, but the better the nuggets are doing in the playoffs, the less likely it becomes.
Gallo seems more obtainable as most playoff teams lack big cap space. Unless OKC consider a sign and trade

Why do you think he burned his bridges in Washington? I thought they really want him back? Either way he would be great and I think we have a shot. He’s the perfect 4 in between Mitch and RJ, along with Gallinari.

If you look at his shooting percentages from 3 and overall the guy is excellent. He is absolutely what we need a PF who can take the kickout pass from RJ to knock down 3’s. His percentages are actually higher than Porzingis’s who is now getting a max deal
He also has a Porzingisesque injury history. 2 ACL tears
He’s still fairly young and in the prime of his career(27). The thought of him in a starting front court with RJ and Mitch next 3 years excites me
And please can we give up this nonsense of saving $60 million in cap space every year for free agent superstars who want nothing to with the knicks

I know he skipped the bubble, which was expected. Have you seen anything that says Washington doesn't want to pay him what he wants? I haven't seen anything like that. Also, Bertans starting is blocked by Hachimura, which means maybe he will go out to seek a starting spot, which based on fit, would make sense here. But again I haven't seen anything that states he won't get what he wants from Washington. He'd be an awesome fit.

I think most people in the Washington area understood that Bertans already had two earlier knee injuries and was in a contract year. I think they want him back, depending on the price.

I live in the Washington area and local talk radio has no idea what’s going on in Washington. The consensus seems to be that Bradley Beal going off is good for business. There is no pressure to win because the Caps are great. The Nationals just won the World Series. Setting Beal get 50 is good enough. No one thinks they are really trying to win or put something meaningful together. What’s wild to me is no one seems to care

Probably due to all the drama with The Washington Football Team. A report could come out about Dan Sneider holding Eyes Wide Shut style orgies with female staff and no one would bat an eye. Good for the Wizards and Nationals I guess.

Guy is a great shooter. Problem is he is limited, can not play defense and can not create his own shot.
Although he is a stretch 4 that can shoot the three(New NBA) he is not am athletic 4 that can play/defend multiple positions (Old NBA)
Although, he did have better career numbers, it was mostly due to the increased shots attempts and minutes attributed to playing on a bad team. Feel he is a better fit for an established roster with main pieces. The deciding factor will be how much? Do not think, as basically a role player, he is worth anything near $20M a year. Would rather use that money for someone that can fill multiple needs. This also reminds me of the typical Knick fandom habit of over rating other teams players. One who have showed minimal success.

Once again the years is more important than the actual money. 2-3 years at $15 million per is reasonable
Yes he’s not a good defender but if 4 out of the 5 on the floor are good or at least capable defenders you can afford a sharpshooter who doesn’t play D

while DC is a Washington Football Team town historically, I think that's kinda inaccurate recently. This town is hockey obsessed. Probably has something to do with Ovechkin being one of the best goal scorers in NHL history. If I offered free tickts to my DC area raised friends, the Caps tickets would go first, football tix next, then Nats, and people would check their calendars first and call their wives and probably make up a fake excuse before accepting Wiz tix

You live In Georgia, you go to a lot of Wizards games, but you turn own the better of three classes of seats because the arena sucks. Can you clarify this?
IN my small opinion the closer to the floor who cares about the arena? As for the food and drink, don’t eat there. Most arenas have craft beer and a bar area to satisfy most. If not water is usually pretty standard.
This is why. You turn down floor, box or club level seats?
