https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/3001...The Brooklyn Nets named Steve Nash their head coach in early September, but stars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant see Nash in more of a collaborative role and not as the head of top-down leadership.
"I don't really see us having a head coach," Irving said on Durant's new podcast, "The Etcs." "KD could be a head coach, I could be a head coach [some days]."

There's no way the Nets are winning a title next season. :) And I'm so glad Kyrie didn't want to sign with the Knicks.
Funny to see Stephon Marbury return to the Nets.

OK that was awesome
The East is not very strong. The league will want to appease Joe Tsai since that's going to appease Jack Ma and appease China. Captain Flat Earther and Durant will essentially be untouchable on the court anyway, but the rest of that Nets roster will start to look untouchable. It's hard to win 8 on 5 and Silver has every reason to make sure every night is 8 on 5 against anyone the Nets are playing against.
Hmm, I wonder what could possibly go wrong?
The more I hear from Kyrie Irving, the more I am convinced he is just bad for team chemistry. I think the Nets are going to regret signing him.
They guy is either nuts or its an act. Bottom line is on the court. His health and the teams record will tell the tale.
He is entertaining at the very least.
Can you actually act this nuts for this long and not actually be nuts?
Hopefully Nash has taken master's level classes in dysfunction management during retirement...
If Perry is going to continue to hunt down is old draft picks he fumbled with, why can't it be Fox?

The Nets will have 2 issues:
1. Durant trying to play with a shoot first pg
2. Durant and Kyrie facing adversity at any point during the season could be a volatile situation
Bucks, Heat and Celtics are all still better anyway

Hasn't he dealt with Curry and Westbrook?

Curry was really a 2. Shaun Livingston was PG

Come on bro, you can do better than that.
Shaun Livingston started 15 games over the last 5 years. Averaged about 16 minutes a game
One may not like Durant, but one has to respect his on court ability.
My question is the torn heel and can he come back all the way or enough.

I imagine he will come back "enough...." To do what I'm not sure. He recently turned 32 and is coming off a *major* injury which does not project well particularly at his size. And price tag. On the other hand he was like top 2 or 3 best/biggest impact player prior to the injury. On the other hand they are beginning to start a nice little dumpster fire over at Barclays.
Durant has only played with "Olympic Kyrie". We'll see what happens when Durant has to deal with Irving as a teammate for 82+ games.
