How about OKC. How much does it suck that they had 3 All-NBA talent on the team, gave them all up and walked away with nothing? That team's failure to win it big outranks the Knicks' futility of the 1990's. KD, Harden and Westbrook? Goddamn, talk about a big three. How was it even possible to have that much firepower?
Ancient history, I know. But looking back on it now, it's just very unbelievable to me.
They didn't wanna pay. They keep Harden they probably win a chip before they have to blow it up due to personalities.
Its amusing that Ibaka got his chip before all 3 of the MVPs.
It's possible because two of them did next to nothing about any other team's firepower.
Did you watch the playoff clip of CP3 getting switched on to Harden? He didn't use a move, a head fake, crossover, nothing. He just dribbled straight past him like nobody was guarding him.
Westbrook's just a head case who wants his stats and cares little to nothing about things like D and possibly setting a screen once a year. And I was a huge Westbrook fan. Another great entertaining player. On one side of the court.
Firepower can be fun to watch. Not much fun in the playoffs though, when you actually have to play D consistently.

No you don't, Look at the score in the playoffs, they're well over the 100 point mark.
You have to play some D, but they way the rules are now, the pace of the game, and the way teams launch 3's....scoring is the key

But.....? They went to the finals.
But......? They been going to the playoffs.....
But......? They have a treasure trove to rebuild.
Sucks But? Nope, we suck for 20 years and have little to show for it.
Wager who at this point is in a better situation? Us or them.
Westbrook is a cancer, Durant is a mentally weak b tch, and Harden wants to shoot the ball 75x a game while getting phantom foul calls
You would need 12 separate basketballs

Yes, you do. Look at how Miami won; they mostly shot shit from three and Butler did ALL his scoring in and around the paint. Look at the shit switching LA did on Butler. And look at the outcomes of the playoffs: Lillard/McCullom out, Harden/Westbrook out.

All three are MVP’s in this league and have had remarkable careers. Not every great player wins a chip.
These guys also played out west. Only one team can make it to finals. Might show how powerful LEbron was by the times he carried teams that had no business being to the finals to that very place.
Durant did himself no favors historically by going to the Warriors but he was their best player.
