I wish he shot a little better from 3pt but I agree he looks like a great backup center for today's game. His pick and pop is nice if he can extend his range.

I'd prefer waiting until 38 to find a backup center though. At 27 I would target Robert Woodard if he's available. Big, athletic combo forward that shot the ball well from 3pt (43%) this season on a reasonable volume. Good defensive upside. Really has 3&D+ potential in the OG Anunoby mold. I see him as a starting 4-man down the road. Teams that are winning all have 2-way combo forwards who can defend multiple positions and make open threes. OG, Siakam, Crowder, J Grant, etc.

Good shooter. Form looks good, but then again that's just the eye test. One thing that's really stands out on those videos is how abysmal his footwork is. Seems like Every time he tries a move in the paint after a rebound he shuffles his feet. Once he shuffled them right after receiving a pass under the basket. Post play is not where it's used to be anymore in this league tho, so his skill set is intriguing.

How about Poku at 27? Does he even last that long ?
