Knicks · Case for bringing back Marcus Morris (page 1)

1. He wants to be a knick. Which is actually quite rare these days.

2. He can shoot. Particularly well from 3. And he can be that stretch 4. He was miscast by Fizzledale as a SF last year he is more of a PF than a wing

3. If we get rid of Randle or simply just have him come off the bench our starting front court is Barret at the 3 and Morris at the 4 playing positions they are better suited for

4. Contract would be a reasonable 1-2 year deal

5. It would troll the hell out of Kristaps Porzingis and Luka Doncic

We do need a strech 4 in the worst way. I really liked him here. I would do it in a heartbeat.

Not for 15 mill... possibly 8-10

We need a veteran stretch 4. He is definitely on the top 5 list. 10-12m. At 15m an option on the second year. Wash rinse and repeat. This time with a team of more building blocks to compete. Looking at 30-35 wins. Good first step in the process.

I thought he played well for us. Was miscast as a wing. I know it’s supposed to be a positionless nba but it really is not

That might get it done on a 2-3 year deal. No way Spurs try to sign him again. I doubt the clippers resign him. He has said publicly he wants to be in the NY-Philly area I think he has family here

Why wouldn’t LAC want him? If anything, they move PG and Morris fits in very well

I think Morris had family reasons to desire being in NY as well.

They are not getting rid of George just to keep Morris

Yes, he’s said this publicly. He even expressed interest in signing with the Knicks again after we traded him
