Covid- they’re not allowed to say if players have it, so Kerr is basically saying it without saying it
This will be happening left and right and will happen to the Knicks as well.

The joke is it’s Harden who’s at the centre of that toxic culture- he drove CP3 out of town after one season, then Westbrook after one season. Now he’s blaming the rockets- he’s one of my least favorite players, should go nicely with KD and Kyrie as the most unlikeable good team in the league if he goes to the Nets
These Queen Bees and their drama are absurd. The only one who is justifiable if not forgivable is Lebronna, who is the only one who delivers every time no matter who he is paired with.
Keep the insults coming Harden. The more you insult the team, the less of a chance you come to the Knicks.
Harden posted pics of himself out of quarantine, no mask, partying with rappers. Instead of meeting his new coach, teammates. He's already got a rep as a player who drives away good teammates. A career of choking in the playoffs. Harden wants to add this to his resume? I'd like to hear who is going to give up a King's ransom for him.

I was quite annoyed at first when I saw that quote but you're completely right. He's protecting us from him.

“Knicks of the south”.........Well if you take a step away and look at the frequency of coaches, GM’s, and team presidents then its a fair comment. KP, as much as we would like to think was the Diva for rejecting knicks was in the epicenter of the dysfunction.
Dolan toxic dealings, meddling and panic moves have o yielded a great return or reputation.
We don’t sign Free agents and we don’t make great trades because our talent base is not high enough.
That said one has to hope that Leon and company are good execs and coaches to change the narrative. But, not a game has been played.
I took hardens comments as a shot at Fertitta. While his core business is restaurants and hospitality which are being decimated by the current state of things we see a few things many rookie new owners have done before. IN this case he stepped into a very good franchise and has now disrupted it.
He botched MDA contract and let him walk. Say what you want about playoff failures but MDA might have gotten more out of his team in the regular seasons which leads to playoff disappointment. He is HOF bound coach who choose to leave.
Morey is the best in the business. He left. Didn’t look to mutual.
One reason might have been Owners insistence to bring in Westbrook which changed the whole chemistry of the team and its asset base to make deals going forward.
all this is just what I have read and surmised myself. Harden was given a monster extension offering and he rejected it. That was very telling. He has still two seasons left. HE is partying in Vegas. Not a good look btw.
But, lets connect the dots. Rockets were the favored team in the Chinese markets and Hardens endorsements as its biggest star could be considerable. Joe Tsai, the Founder of Alibaba has positioned them to surpass them. Durant and Kyrie in NYC is one thing. But this bridge to China is interesting. Add Harden and his popularity its a compelling reason for him to want to be in Brooklyn.
Silver will broker this somehow. Can’t have a big star disgruntled, an owner being held hostage and players like Durant/Kyrie tampering with Harden either. Fertitta is entitled to not get phuched over but at the same time he will have to submit to what is reasonable.
Don’t kid yourselves, if this was knicks instead of Nets we’d be in Starphuch heaven right now!!!
The Knicks have such a lousy reputation they get made fun of for situations they have nothing to do with like the Harden/Tillman Fertita fiasco
And people think we have a shot at Giannis or Lebron next year lolz

Good team? How many basketballs are they going to be playing with? 4?
I’d love to see the Nets send Dinwiddie, Allen etc. for Harden. They will lose their entire supporting cast while creating the worst defensive backcourt in the entire nba
Even Obama is clowning the Knicks.

I voted for him -- twice -- but screw 'im. Anyway, it's time to turn the tables on the lazy cheap takes and jokes. Of course then they'll all be jumping on the bandwagon but what can you do.

LOL...........
Man, the jokes are not slanted. Knicks are the worst or second worst over the last 20 years so lets not thing we don’t deserve this. We do.
Dolan selling the team won’t change the past. Nobody’s words can change it. They do on the court.
IM not going to hate on Harden or wish Nets ill if he goes there. They either get it done or not. I admire Nets ambition with the Russian that they went all in and then how they went about restricting without all thei picks to return to form ENOUGH to attract Durant and Irving. IT took discipline and then a financial commitment to make it happen. I know many of you will revel in their misery if they fail. I’m going to take a high road and just say that we take care of our business on the court then let all the others fall or rise as they may. I’d rather Nets win than any other except the Knicks. At lease some NYers can gain some joy from them. Rivals are born from important games. Give me Subway conf. Final with the Knicks winning! Nets failure does not cure knick failure!

Yeah, Obama treating us like Harden treats Covid protocols. He's directing that Trump grudge toward all NYers. Plus, he a Bulls fan. Talk about throwing stones from glass houses.
Man that's a lot of false positives
I laugh when I think how naive we all were when we thought teams wouldn't want to spend big money and would want to offload contracts this offseason, and how that would be to our advantage!
Bucks traded all their firsts so no chance.
Heat... hmm... maybe- they'd have to send Iggy ($15mil), olynyk (£14mil), Herro, Nunn and either Duncan Robinson, or wait til they can trade Precious, just to make up the salary.
COre of Harden, Bam and Butler is significant. What made Miami’s run was the role guys. Not sure I’d label Herro a future star/1st option quite yet. Kid has a great run!

Was the Giannis/Harden beef overblown, or did Harden name them because there's no chance of it happening?

How is PG signing indicative of that?

Not just him, but all the huge contracts that got handed out this offseason- crazy amounts of money considering we don’t know if the leagues finances are going to rapidly bounce back after this season
