Don't know about the Lakers, but I think Thibs is on top of this. Keep your players so tired with grueling practices and they won't have the will to leave their homes and face possible exposure.
Meyers Leonard is still in the NBA

Ha! Seems to be working!
although it seems that most players are catching it from their Barbers
Just seems fishy the only Knick to test positive for COVID is the one who wasn’t with the team from the start
Times were good when Dallas sucked.
Damn...

If kp stays healthy. That’s a good team
Guess the Nets don't need Durant. Unless they meet Dallas in the Finals...

Caught the 4th quarter of that game. SAS could not hit a shot. I did not watch it close enough to decipher if it was good defense or inept offense. KP was clutch and Luka who was off got hot when it mattered.
KP was tan.

In Russia someone with a name Meyers Leonard would almost certainly have Jewish roots himself. What do you know?

LOL, How true!!!!
In Miami the owner, From Israel is likely shaking his head. I don’t know if Meyers is antisemetic or just stupid. If his status as an nba player gives him exposure for his blogs, travel stuff he did, and a celebrity on a video game you just can’t say shit even if the intent is not in your heart. He learned a very expensive lesson. Team holds a 10mm option on him. I don’t know what their intent was prior to this or if any aftermath given this. I’d think a guy like Aronson a multi billionaire would not where he is being petty. But on the other hand its not like Myers is killing it on the floor either.

I have wondered for a long time, how acceptable is it to use slurs that apply to yourself and your own social or ethnic group.
Arison still has the broader community sentiment to consider, it is not just about how he personally feels about this. It is on Meyers to show genuine contrition, learn from the experience and make up for his mistake with community service dedicated to equality and diversity. If he accomplishes that, I don't see why he won't be able to stay in the league and on the team.
I wonder if he said B*TCHAS N**GA would he have gotten the same punishment
Shooting nearly 39% from 3 on almost 8 attempts a game.
FT shooting finally a respectable 77% and shooting above 50% for the first time in career.

if you are Thibs, Leon, etc who are you targeting? I dont see any names on that FA list that jump out at me except veteran PGs like Conley except for Derozan. Maybe he's the guy? Derozan is 32 next year so he's got some gas.
Obviously there will be moves even if minor ones but assume Rose comes back, check out the Knicks with Derozan and just the guys currently under contract:
PG Rose/Rivers
SG RJ/Quickley
SF Derozan/Knox
PF Randle/Obi
C Mitch
Dallas FRP, Knicks FRP, Detroit #2
How would you feel about that starting 9 next year? (hopefully a rookie beats out Rivers
)

Not to great. Derozan doesn't really fit with Randle. They operate in similar areas of the court. Randle is hitting the three at a nice clip, but I don't want to see him living out there. Derozan doesn't really hit the three well enough to be able to play of Randle out there. Now, it might work if you Derozan coming off the bitch. I would consider that depending on how much he gets.
