Moral of the story? Organizations lie and players need to look out for their best interests. I hope this also sheds a light on how well the Knicks treated Austin Rivers, even though he is a bum The Knicks are one of the few trustworthy orgs out there.

Redick sounds like a baby. Stan Van Gundy said it best....

"[JJ] had some things that he wanted to happen. But I think Griff cared very much about what JJ wanted, but he has a responsibility to Gayle Benson and to the organization that supersedes all of that," Van Gundy said.

Listen, the one thing with me -- and I think I've been consistent about this throughout my career -- is you'll hear people say it from time to time that it's a business; well, it is. Players are going to want to do what's best for them, and they have every damn right to do that, and organizations have every damn right to do what's best for their organization. I have problems when it gets skewed that it's a business from my end, but you should not be a business on your end. That's not right. It's a business on both ends of it.

As for Rivers....Its obvious that NO ONE wants Rivers (not even his dad) which is why he was bought out.

Stan is right, it does cut both ways. You can't trust anyone, except Leon. He is the one guy agents can take at his word. Free agents need to consider that! Who wouldn't trust this man:

Yeah -- what I saw was KD reacting pretty hard which isn't news. Not up to date so perhaps I missed some of Rappaport's baiting. Though I did see KD took it to "cum guzzling bitch." Well done.

In a private conversation which appears to date back to last year, the 11-time All-Star attacked the 51-year-old actor and sports podcaster with a flurry of highly profane insults. Durant went on to challenge Rapaport to a fistfight on the streets on New York City before asking for his home address.

“Your wife doesn’t even respect your bitch ass,” Durant wrote.

According to the screenshots, the confrontation began when Rapaport criticized Durant’s post-game interview with TNT analyst Charles Barkley after Brooklyn’s season-opening victory over the Golden State Warriors in December.

Rapaport tweeted at the time: “KD seemed deeply in his feelings with the (TNT) crew after the game. DAMNIT he’s super sensitive about everything. Don’t do the interview.”

Durant responded by calling Rapaport a “bitch”, a “pussy”, a “pale pasty cum guzzling bitch” and a “piece of shit”, followed by a series of insults invoking the actor’s wife.

Yikes.

If meant to be private not a good look to go public.
Can’t say either are on my Christmas card list. Rappaport is a knuckle head.
Pretty bad language on both sides.
TPercy @ 3/31/2021 10:41 PM
Make no mistakes. Its on sight for Rappaport if KD sees him im public but man does he have thin skin. I just don't know if he would have survived on our team.

Harden left game tonight with tight hamstring.

Damn. I knew KD is sensitive but this dude got some problems.

I think that KD expresses himself a lot more eloquently and to the point, and you would think that a thespian would have a better way with words than an athlete.
In any case, I do not understand what is Rapaport's problem and why is he acting like a clown? Got too carried away with his on-screen role type?

The Denver Nuggets are a fun team to watch!! They are my go to team when the Knicks ain't playing and even more so now that they added Gordon who has fit in perfectly with this team. The ball movement and body movement is a thing of beauty....They are playing inspired ball on the defensive end as well. They have a legit shot at coming out of the West this year.

1248, read the chart then you undertand why Gorbet makes the money. He impacts his team.

I know the Thunder got blown, but it's hard to look at Frank's fellow countryman and rookie PG Théo Maledon's performance against the Suns and not wonder why Frank has never had one of those games in almost 4 seasons.

Theo averages only 3 more points per game than Frank in his rookie season. Plays more minutes. Has a real point guard in SGA. OKC not the dysfunctional organization that the Knicks were in 2017-18. How good is Maledon defensively?

I'm not saying Maledon is going to be Tony Parker mkII, just that in his rookie season he's had one 24 points and one 33 points game. We're yet to be treated to such by Frank after 4 seasons in the league, and I doubt we ever will.

And another one. It's like someone is thrashing his voodoo doll around.
smackeddog @ 4/4/2021 1:52 PM
The size of the blow outs the past few days has been ridiculous
