Thinking about it more its not so horrible for Suns but its quite a gamble.
Suns prior to the trade had Rubio, Oubre, Booker, Ayton with Jerome, Bridges, and Johnson developing + 18m in cap space.
Suns after trade is Paul, Booker, Ayton now calling on Bridges and Johnson to be a lot more contributive and l0m in cap room. How much better are they and this comes with the risk factor of Paul's age + injury history? Maybe a little bit better off?

They wanted Knox, Frank, Julius, and a pick 27th, and possibly our 2nd rd or future pick. To me that was too much to pay for the right to pay him $85 mill.
CP3 is nice but injury prone....PHX med staff is legendary..they rehabilitated Grant Hill, Shaq, and they were able to hold Amare together until he left...so they may be betting on that....for us....no Sir...CP 3 go down with a hammy in a shorthened season after giving up quality...it will be another round of LOL Knicks.

People actually think we are going to sign Van Vleet still
Seems as though we are hanging on to our assets and hope to trade for a disgruntled star, but every time one becomes available, the price is to high.

From everything being said out there, the Knicks are not willing to pay a lot for Westbrook. I personally don’t want him for anything. Maybe the Rockets have something lined up with Charlotte.

It's not all good, we can't even trade for stars, let alone attract them in FA.
The only thing we had is the Allure.
Quite frankly Nothing is going to come cheap for this franchise until they prove they are all about winning.
