with Randle Knox and Frank for James Harden

That's not close to being enough for a former MVP, multiple scoring champ...the nyets package is better and I don't think their package is enough, either.

Yes of course. Think we would be three draft picks short though.
Here is my real fear. We end up with Lamelo Ball by giving up the 8th,27 and 38th. Or we give the crazy package mentioned above for Westbrook.
They are about to get just as many picks and LeVert and Spencer D. I would take the Nets over the Knicks as trade partners every day, even if we offered RJ.

Westbrook's value is considerably lower across the league according to Windhorst. I'm not worried about that. The Knicks aren't lookinh to trade up according to most legit sources, so I think we're alright from that end. Also, both Minnesota and GSW are looking for more than that, according to reports. We're not moving up unless Mitch is in the package.
Let’s see how Barrett has developed on the off season.. same size & vision as Harden just missing the shot.
I don't see Rockets doing it. With all these players getting moved for 5 picks/pick swaps, they can find that somewhere else.

Will breath a sigh of relief if thats the case. Just keep fearing the good ole "Knick factor".

Rose already offered that and was shot down WWII style....
Think it would take RJ, Mitch, Frank plus at least 3 firsts and 2 pick swaps
Hey BRIGGS. No Draft game this year?

Im sorry certainly we had the time!lol
I wouldn't take Harden unless it was a swap for our deadweight (eg Randle, Payton, Portis, DSJr, etc)... You can't have 40% of your cap go to a player that barely plays defense. Pretty much every champion has a deserving max player who leads, plays defense and uses a disproportionate amount of cap space. I get there are only a few of those players deserving of that - but you can't make Harden something he's not. I truly believe RJ could be our Harden. Don't think he will be as lethal offensively, but good enough to build around since he is a hard worker, can score in isolation and tries on defense. If he comes back with an improved jumper and free throw - then we know he possesses the work ethic to maximize his potential.
harden wants to play with KD and Kyrie perceiving it as the best chance to win a championship
plus his beard will be super well received in Brooklyn
even if we had the assets he ain't coming
even if OKC offered all of their firsts he aint going

As much as I hate the fit of Lamelo and RJ, I'd pull off that trade. Whether we like it or not, thibs will push for more vets on the team and we already have a number of young players (RJ, Mitch, Lamelo(if we pull it off), knox, Frank and DSJ)
Next move is to push for a Randle and DSJ for an established player
