guess your starting line up!
Frank, RJ, Knox, Randle, Mitch
However, I am hoping it's
Frank, quickley, RJ, Obi, Mitch
Finally
DSJ
burke
RJ
Randle
Noel
bench
payton
rivers
bullock
Obi
Mitch
garbage time
Frank
quickly
harper
MKG
spellman
bullock
However, I am hoping it's
Frank, quickley, RJ, Obi, Mitch

That would be nice
Starters: DSJ, RJ, Knox, Randle, Noel
Bench: Peyton, Bullock, Mitch, Rivers, Obi
I would love to see Iggy take a spot but that’s not realistic.
This is a bench year for Quickly but he may end up having a higher upside than DSJ, Rivers, Bullock and Peyton. He can end up being a starting PG in a couple of years, if that’s how he views himself.
If Mitch doesn’t take the spot from Noel this season then that’s sad.
Randle keeping his spot depends on if he decideS to not forget his brain. Either way, if he decides to not play defense and if he just keeps turning the ball over without having a J, then you might as well just start Obi.
If Frank shows any consistent shot and offensive upside then Peyton is out and Frank is in. His defense is too good to ignore.

what about burke, who i actually forgot about as well
Someone from Kentucky, someone from Kentucky, RJ, Austin Rivers, Elfrid Payton.
lot of good thoughts in here.
a little surprise about all of the DSJ starting and Frank maybe not in rotation
Also -- it will of course depend on how practices go because Thib will make guys earn minutes -- but i can see Obi at the 5 even with Randle to provide some more spacing than Noel or Mitch will give. RJ and Randle would each benefit from the increased space as would DSJ.

Rivers has a sore hammy, so dont expect him

And what about Knox on your end? He is impressing people and seems to be Thibs’ project.

I’ll put Burke ahead of Rivers though since he is hurt.

To be honest, i would prefer to watch this roster scrimmage against each other as opposed to playing Detroit
No clear starter except RJ and probably Randle because of contract.
My dream lineup would be:
starting: Frank, Burks, RJ, Obi, Mitch
subs: Rivers, Quickley, Iggy, Knox, Noel
My sad realistic lineup:
starting: Payton, Burks, RJ, Randle, Noel
subs: DSJ, Rivers, Knox, Obi, Mitch
Thibs likes his veterans
I don't want to see Payton staring at the 1 and Noel starting at the 5.

We usually do get that in some form but we really don’t have time for that. I have zero doubt that Friday night will display a bunch of guys looking like they are drunk but hey, that’s to be expected. Thibs knows what he sees though. He knows what will give the team the best chance to win. So if someone is starting over someone else, there are reasons. I think Knox is starting because it’s been stated by multiple places, including Thibs himself that he’s been doing well in camp. Steve Novak apparently is in the know and said Thibs has been riding him all Summer too. He’s a priority whether the fans like it or not.
I’m also going with Noel simply because it seems Thibs can’t trust Mitch yet.
We’ll see Friday. I’m assuming the team has to have a day off either today or tomorrow.
Nothing but chatter since March...play the games!
Rivers is out, but
Dookies and Wildcats?
Rivers/RJ
Noel, Randle and quickly.
Who starts?
Really who ever Thibs wants to see.
Guessing only:
Noel
Randle
RJ
Frank
Dennis
Logic is team want to see Dennis and Frank on the court healthy and see if it goes anywhere.
Get it over with. This is not based on Merit, its based on progression.
I want to see the rooks, Iggy and Knox get minutes.
Elf is solid, Frank has to bring it early to earn his minutes. Does he have a future? Thats between him, his agent and knicks to sort out what the parameters are. If we don’t love him his agent will want him moved to a team that will and give him minutes.
There is a reality here. Not fandom and not the Rainman’s lazy takes.
Reality is Dennis,
I doubt they put Frank on Garbage time.
I Think...
Elfrid, Bullock, RJ, Randle, Noel
Why - DSJr not ready, Frank seems like destined for bench. Bullock is good shooter and vet, RJ, Randle starts until he's moved, Noel cause Mitch on the outskirts...
I Would Try...
Frank, RJ, Bullock, Toppin, Noel
Frank gets a last chance, RJ is our future and plays hard, Bullock is steady vet and shooter, Toppin to exciting to not play, Noel because Mitch needs wakeup call...
