Knicks · I dont like thinking like this but its in our best interest if Doncic brakes an ankle early in year (page 2)
Allanfan20@ 12/12/2020 6:15 PM
I don’t actually wish Luka to get hurt but the sinful thought has crossed my head. Anyone criticizing Briggs for this definitely had the thought cross their heads too. It’s human nature. Don’t lie to yourself if the thought didn’t cross your head. The only difference is Briggs is saying it out loud.
Stop being all sanctimonious on this subject. You all thought of it at one point.
EwingsGlass@ 12/12/2020 6:24 PM
Knicks1248, your attacks are unwarranted. He did not “wish harm” on Doncic. He acknowledged an unfortunate truth that Dallas’ failures result in our benefit. Inherent to that trutb is that Doncic’s skills are such that Dallas’ success is most directly attributable to Doncic. If the logic offends your conscience in such a primadonna manner, we can use the alternative scenario where Doncic is abducted (temporarily of course) during the NBA season and treated to a galactic cruise.
We know Briggs often uses that are his honest thoughts although sometimes socially improper. Having watched these conversations for 15 years or so, you know he isn’t gonna Tanya Harding him. It’s just an unfortunate truth that the placement of the Dallas pick is almost directly correlated to Doncic’s health unless you believe in Doncic-abducting aliens.
It’s a simple, unfortunate fact that most of us already knew and had the social aptitude to keep to ourselves.
Your response was also socially inept because it leaves anyone reading it asking “is 1248 angry at Briggs for being brutally honest or for spoiling the “wish” that ill befall Doncic with Brigg’s bad luck.
In any event, my suggestion is that folks take people at their best instead of their worst cause I don’t see Briggs wanting to hurt anyone. Just considering an unfortunate truth out loud where most of us keep that thought in our heads.

Thinking people are also overlooking the fact that none of us actually have psychic powers, and wishing injury on someone doesn't actually have any bearing on whether they get injured- I like that we're just all taking for granted that we do all indeed have mind control powers, and we need to keep them in check otherwise Doncic will get hurt- ha!

He's looking plumper than normal, guess conditioning may be a problem further into his career:

Ghoulish thread.
Humans collectively come up with inapropriate thoughts, ideas. Doesnt mean we should be normalizing them. Thats how we got Trump.

This is your worst thread ever. I can't believe you just wish for a player (who never said a single bad word about the knicks) to injure himself for the benefit of your team.
That's just selfish and stupid, not to mention that Anytime you wish bad on someone the exact opposite usually happens
Well my neck is kind of sore this morning☹️. Let’s take it down a notch. While I am presently doing voodoo chants and I do indeed have a Doncic doll with a bunch of ice cubes at the ankle— that’s as far as I’ve gone.

That’s how masturbation was invented— a bunch of humans having inappropriate thoughts. We have however survived millions of years with them👀

Let us know the next time you break your ankle masturbating. Openly saying we'd be better off as sports fans if some harm came to a player. Is no different than me saying that this board would be better off if you were on a respirator, with covid. Ghoulish.
"Francis" was the guy with the sick thoughts. Sgt "Hulka" told him to chill. Which is what I suggested you should do.

Gawd the bloke barely looks like an athlete right now. He's never been the one with the most athletic looks, but this is way beyond. The minimum requirement for a pro sportsman is to be in perfect shape, failure to do so is an indicator of character : people who believe their own hype and that their natural talent will always be enough. This is a question mark on his career indeed, something to pay attention to in the future.

Still pretty smooth for a pudgy.

Disgusting Briggs. You should be ashamed. What an embarrasing thing to wish.
I hope Dallas has the second best record in the league.

If only they could transplant some of Luka's pudge to KP...instant dynasty

Luka had a Dad Body at 19, he looks really big now! Man, Briggs why not go full out coronary? Not saying a triple bypass renders him retired, but he’ll need a year off. Maybe get a intestine band to keep the weight off! cube extend him yet? Dude looks like he smokes two pack of Turkish ciggy’s a day! Wait, forget a ankle or coronary, what about straight up Chemo? That ought to take him out so knicks can get a better pick!

Wow man. You must’ve not liked Don Rickles. I guess people can’t decipher a facetious thought process. Next time I go that route—I’ll put a surgeons general warning up!

We can all take turns treating Luka at Popeye's, McDonalds, etc.

We just need the mavs to lose a bunch of games. I don’t care how, and don’t want to wish a injury on anyone...... They just need to lose games
