I think IQ can be the point guard for this team and starting him for this preseason game is fine but I am concerned that we don’t put too much on him too soon. My hope was that they would trade Elfrid and DSJr at the trade deadline and then start IQ with Frank as the backup and Bring in Jared Harper as 3rd pg. But I am going to enjoy tonight’s game and who knows, maybe IQ plays so well that Thibs just says fuck it and starts IQ from the start of the season.

this is where good coaching comes in. Its in specifying the role this kid is going to play. Run these 3 plays, space here, here and here when these guys have the ball, and you KNOW he know where to be on defense.
This is also why I think Frank is the best to start next to RJ and Randle. Frank can run the set plays for those guys and go space the floor. The difference is now we have an elite defender to stick on your most important guy and we are HUGE with Frank/RJ in the backcourt.
Anyhow I took the phone off do not disturb but Thibs still hasnt checked in with me so whatever... Looking forward to watching the kids tonight! We got a couple years of RJ/Mitch/Knox/Quickly/Obi under rookie contracts. I am all about giving those guys run together. Hopefully Frank AND DSjr force tough choices for the Knicks and Thibs by playing well! So much fun
Happy friday everyone... Im clearly gamerrrweeded
I'll see you and raise you staying up in Barcelona to see a preseason game- Let's see what happens- I don't need crazy Quicksanity but I gotta stay up and watch- I like the new blood

Watching shoot around on the feed- nothing MAJOR to report :)
Killin the anthem on the Organ! I love it- my man sounds great!
Can't fake the crowd noise at MSG tho that part don't work- WE DIFFERENT
Buick doing the play by play, I like it.
How is Barcelona these days?
When is Thibs gonna tell spinover to stop dribbling coast to coast?
Nice shooting by Quick. Nice pass by RJ as well as the finish by Bullock. We’re probably winning the championship this season.
Quickley completely changes the game with his shooting. Imagine Payton out there instead right now. Quickley just brings so much more to the table. You don’t need a pure PG. You need a shooter who can keep an offense flowing and defend PGs.
And that’s some intense social distancing by Rebecca Harlow!
Quickley showing Frank and Dennis how you take advantage of an opportunity...Last game gave him suprene confidence...He came out tonight on fiyaaaa!! 3 for 3...2 for 2 from 3.
Quickley is playing with a lot of fire and with something to prove. At the draft many critics were saying he was a reach. It’s only two preseason games but he looks real good
Knicks look good with a competent point guard.
Love the way Qickley is pushing the tempo...throwing outlet passes. Got the starting 5 looking like the 80s Lake Show
