They will be very interesting to watch more so than any other team
They made good moves in the offseason but the bulls are also the worst team in the nba and it might not be close
Yeah and the warriors are bottom 5 in the west bound for another lottery pick, they are terrible.
The Hawks took the knicks offseason plan an executed it exactly as plan

The Hawks are/were about 2 stops ahead of us on the rebuild train. We did not have a Trae Young type player (Young Allstar) or John Collins fringe, young allstar to build around...
They looked bad in the preseason and good in the ONE regular season game. I still don't know what to make of Trae Young, but it'll be interesting to find out. My problem with them, is they signed Gallo, which likely alienates/makes John Collins expendable (seems like they don't want to give him the max type money he wants. But Gallo is likely only good for 2 seasons. So a lot rides on what they trade John Collins for. Think Rondo signing will be a mistake.
I think the warriors are still the worst team in the nba right now ... definitely due for another top5 pick. They are god awful on defense

How many drafts is Silver going to rig for them?

I agree. It’d be easier to add guys like Gallo when you have a Trae Young to build around. Barrett might take that next step, but ATL was in a better position to execute.

Dray has not played.
If you want to look at ATL as a study have to go back a few years and see how they got here.
Not use one summer.
Interesting to see if Cam Reddish ever amounts to anything.
They are getting deep with vets and good youth. OKongwu, Heurter, Hunter to go with Collins, Young, Gallo, Capella and Bogdon.
NOt sure I’d label them GSW yet but they have done a great job putting things in place. The Short sighted would fail to see this was not just about one summer, but a few years to get here.
Just watched ATL Vs. Memphis. Funny to see Grayson Allen get big minutes.
ATL not quite together yet. Hunter was clutch down the stretch.

They could improve their overall ball movement.

Yeas, few years and one Tray Young. Yeas
