Quick is too good of a shooter to be in a slump for too long....Took him some time to adjust to the speed of the game after his injury. He's playing with a ton of confidence now...has a bounce to his step.
The tempo picks up immediately when Quick enters the game. Seems to be creating some good synergy with Obi as well. Would like to see RJ, Quick and Obi get some extended minutes together.

Well, this really depends on what Obi does the next three years. Knicks guard play before IQ became the rage was for sure deserving of such criticism. Halliburton might make a lot of teams besides the knicks look silly for letting him slip.

Also, fit isn't really being taken into account. Halliburton is efficient and he's more prepared than a lot of people thought. But it's not like he's being given full PG responsibilities. Not saying he can't handle them, just saying it remains to be seen. I'm not sure he'd be as successful if we drafted him. Also, IQ was one of the most efficient shooters in college basketball and people still killed the Knicks for that pick. You can't win. But tell you what, I trust Walt Perrin's evaluations more than I do Jay Williams or any of these other empty suits.

Last night in a loss Hali had 2 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 turnovers in 23 minutes. So today Obi and IQ are the superior players it would seem.

Quick does a bit remind me of Mark Jax shot delivery. His floater looks like Joakim Noah taking a foul shot on Acid.
Its a remarkable thing to behold. I’m not sure what I am seeing really. He runs and without breaking stride sort of chucks the ball and yet it goes in. I’m not sure iM quite ready either!

For how many years now have we heard Clyde gush over the floater shot, telling us how it's such an important part of a good PG's offensive repertoire. And here it is!

Mark Jax's floater or Tear-Drop as we called back in the day, is a little different than Quickley's. Jax's tear-drop was off two-feet which allowed Mark to be a more under control. Quick's running floater is more difficult to pull off because of his momentum going towards the basket. But, he shoots it the correct way because like Mark, the floater is more of a knuckle-ball which allows the ball to die on the rim and drop in.

Quick just seems to make the game easier, simpler. If he wasn't such a great shooter, you'd think he was just running at the basket and chucking, but he has such great feel and control when he leaves his feet, and the better thing is he seems, at least from what I remember, so much faster than Jax with the floaters.
