Knicks · Iq isn’t physically ready for nba (page 7)

Love iq but he was physically man handled twice by a bigger team.

Was still hoping he took the last shot yesterday down 2.

It's total points added. So basically efficiency on both ends combined within the minutes played. Obviously the higher up, the more efficient and effective. In most of these advanced stat charts, it's Ball, quickley, and Haliburton at the top pretty consistently. Edwards, Anthony, and Okoro at the bottom. The bottom 3 are pretty much seeing big minutes and being allowed to play through struggles like Knox was as a rookie vs the top 3 who have earned their minutes with high efficiency.

Guess who's #2??????

2. IMMANUEL QUICKLEY | NEW YORK KNICKS

College: Kentucky Wildcats

CBS Sports: “Quickley could be a serious candidate for Rookie of the Year, if only the Knicks put him in the starting lineup. He doesn't turn the ball over, he plays very patient and doesn't force anything on offense, and the Knicks are just a better team with him on the floor. New York has an offensive rating of 108.9 with him on the court, compared to 104.5 with him off it.”

247Sports: Immanuel Quickley has become one of the biggest steals in the 2020 NBA Draft. The Knicks selected Quickley 25th overall in the annual event. The decision has been a proven success as Quickley is a revelation for the franchise. While he is not starting, Quickley still has a critical role on the roster. He is rapidly earning the trust of Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau and that is a big deal. Quickley is averaging 12 points and has accounted for 1.2 win shares. He already has four games with 20 or more points. His best effort was a 31-point outburst against the Portland Trail Blazers. The talent is there for Quickley. The question is whether he will get the starting opportunity he has earned.

Remember when fans slammed the knicks for selecting a guy projected for the 2nd round with the 25th pick? Now he's the steal of the draft. lol!

Remember when the knicks picked the formerly consensus #1 pick with the #3 pick and he didn't even make the All Rookie Second Team?

I swear some Knick fans have a pathological need to be miserable about everything Knicks related, all the time

Thats what happens when you've been in an abusive relationship for so long. When a good thing comes around, we don't know how to act. It's hard to erase 20 yrs of abuse.

Exactly, they're not happy unless they're unhappy. Sunny day and they complain about the 15 minutes of cloudiness.

So who is the guy that was available at #3 who you would've drafted instead of RJ who is tearing up the league right now?

He wont get enough time to be in the conversation. When you factor in his numbers with the amount of time he has played he should already be in the conversation but the media won't do that.

I wanted Hunter but If I was a GM I probably would of picked Barrett too.

Per 100 possesions he is better than Trae Young his rookie year

That's fair, but I don't see Hunter as a huge upgrade over Barrett. I see them both pretty much being on the same level at this point of their careers. I just get tired of people criticizing the Barrett pick without acknowledging there was no Giannis or Devin Booker sitting there for us to pick instead.
