Knicks · Obi Toppin might be back tonight? (page 1)

Listed as probable. That's good news. Maybe he can provide a needed scoring spark off the bench. Would be nice to see Quickley, Knox, and Toppin drive the second unit with some offense and Quickley to get back on track.

Dennis is active on the roster. If he is this buried and expiring why keep him, or Harper.
If your only running 8 guys cuz thats all you got thats one thing. But if you got guys healthy and they can’t get any burn what’s the outlook?
I know its not as simple as this but IQ obviously is either bothered by his hip, knicks have not practiced enough, or scouting has caught up with him. IF our strength was youth then we run with that and what was to be a “deep bench”.

Running a deep bench doesn't help with the rhythm of the team's best players. Clearly Thibs doesn't think Dennis Smith is very good. Only Burks and Toppin will return for real minutes.

Robinson, Randle, Barrett, Burks, Payton, Rivers, Toppin, Quickley, Bullock, Knox, and Noel is 11 guys who will fight for minutes when everyone is healthy. I still only see Thibs going 9 most nights. If everyone were healthy than I think Bullock and Noel become odd men out most nights. But injures keep them involved more often than not.

I don’t recall reading when Dennis was returned from his injuries. I thought Obi was still out for while.

You forgot Frankie on purpose I'm guessing, or did you already trade him off your fantasy league team?

Last game Frankie was not on the box score. Dennis was.
I assume he was available? Frankie not forgotton, his stature grows with mounting losses.
Savior needed.
