Nope. Knicks can’t draft. They can’t sign free agents
Only avenue is trade for disgruntled star

Yep, you are losing it.
Irrational trade proposal for a cancer of a player with a terrible contract by gutting the team of all their prospects because they do what every young player does: struggle while they progress.
All due respect, Briggs, but your content was way better than this.
Houston is crazy if they turn down Herro And Precious. Miami deal is quality
Tyler Herro is better than all the Knicks lottery picks combined

And what exactly makes you think Harden's going to be thrilled playing with Randle and for Thibs? Non-existent NYC nightlife? The possibility of partying with Kyrie?

You’re just seeing a player who doesn’t care cuz he wants a trade. The guy is an mvp two years ago?
Always find it funny when fans trash their own players: Barrett can't shoot and wasn't worth the 3rd pick, Frank and Knox are bench players and nothing more...then, turn around and want to trade these "trash" players for future hall of famers
No way does Houston bite on that trade proposal and Knicks would be idiots to pull the trigger on that dude....

I could’ve said same thing about Carmelo when we traded for him. It worked out good for 2 years— in a shortened year tgis would give us a chance with some other moves
I’m done w draft with the Knicks. Don’t work well

I thought there was 10 years of Melohistory "forcing" his way here. You're comparing a disgruntled Harden now, during a pandemic WeirdWorld to Melo 10 years ago? Really? You have lost it. Whatever it was.
Well, at least you keep the site active.

Yep....We need these off the cuff dry humor threads, especially during this losing streak.

The only reason you say that can't draft is because you're inpatient. Robinson, Barrett, Toppin, and Quickley all show upside. You just can't seem to stomach the up and down growth process. If they don't become stars instantly you want to trade them all away, hence this thread.

Herro is a net negative defensive player and will always be that way. I like him but come on. Imagine Herro and Barrett changing teams and roles and think about what would happen. You need to think about these things.
Always find it hilarious when fans trash their own players, calling them busts, bench players etc...and in our case, fans have been trashing RJ, Frank and Knox, then want to turn around trade these "trash" players for a future hall of famer
No way does Houston accept that trade package....

Every team in the league would love to have Barrett though. GMs I bet still feel he’s a star on a more fitting roster.

Herro is an nba star in the making? Id trade Barrett for him in two sec
James Harden and Julius Randle on same team in east has serious potential against any team. We have a good D center role players and wed have to be buyers at trade deadline.

Reports are saying Houston is asking for Simmons as the center piece of a trade from Philly and perhaps Kyrie (not sure they want him now) as the centerpiece of a trade with nets. RJ is nowhere near the level of those players to be a center piece of a deal for a player of Harden's caliber.

And if Herro was a knick and Barrett was thriving in Miami (which he would be) you would want to do the opposite. Right now the Knicks are 5-6 and Barrett has been the team's second best player. I think you have to pump the brakes.
