Knicks · Should the Knicks consider B.Beal? (page 1)

Not sure if this has been brought up here but should the Knicks start looking at what it would take to trade for Bradley Beal? He certainly fills a need. The Knicks are/were a long shot to make the playoffs this year but with todays Harden to Brooklyn trade, I would imagine this would move the Knicks timeline "to be relevant" up just a bit.

Would you want him on the NYKnicks? If so, what you trade to acquire him?

After seeing what the Nets gave up from older/fat/kinda a$$clown Harden, do you have any idea what the Knicks would have to give up for Beal, who has no winning NBA experience?

I think so. I think he is the kind of player that would draw other high end players. You can build around him because he creates floor spacing. Of the players rumored to be available, he is my #1 choice. NY would love him.

There is a 4/1 conversion ratio on Knick/Net picks. 4 picks in the 20s might be worth one Knick lotto pick...

I dunno, if Beal was available, I’d probably break the bank to keep him out of Miami.

This

Of course, pairing Bradley with Randle may result in the Knicks OUT of the Lottery this year.

A trade for Bradley would definitely start with RJ Barrett and giving up a couple of first rounders.

If we not in the lottery, we don’t need to be in the lottery!
I want the players on this roster To play better, be more valuable!
We not deep enough to make a big trade.

I normally agree. I think Beal is talented enough to make a starting piece. Especially walking into 2021 free agency. Not a lot of players I would say this about. I think he is the kind of player that others would come to NY to play with. I’d give up the Dallas picks to get him.

That said, I understand there is no need to make a move before the 21 draft. We still have picks to trade and a ton of cap space to use.
