watched the game on the boston feed

Scalabrine is no fan of the KNicks in general but had nice things to say about IQ, and Thibs. I've been watching Boston feed for probably 35 years at this point and cna count on one hand the number of times they have said something genuinely complimentary about the Knicks.

regarding DSJ, Scalabrine said that pgs who were great in college and not in the pros is more of a mental than physical thing in terms of adapting to NBA game speed.

whatever the cause DSJ does not look good right now. things are only going to get more complicated when Frank returns because IQ will be getting 20 min or more as the season progresses.

We beat the Celtics, Mavs lose...it's a good day in Knickville

True story: when DSJr came into the game I didn't and couldn't recognize him. Thought either Pinson or Harper but those didn't make any sense.

Breen had to call his name out for me to connect dots

Excellent game by IQ. It seems like coach has been telling him to shoot if he’s open.

Also a solid game by Obi. Nice progress by him. He looked quick and explosive today.

The knicks rebuild is starting to take shape. The knicks young line up is starting to catch up with the likes of Atlanta, Bulls and Memphis. Knox is showing signs of life, we can finally see some much needed improvement. RJ is playing better. Mitch is developing. Randle is playing like an Allstar. Quickley is looking more and more like our true point guard of the future and OBi is showing flashes of his skill.

How one game changes perception. We just lost 5 in a row. Hopefully we stay consistent.

Actually for some of us the perception hasn't shifted. We've wanted a slow steady rebuild, not the big splash shoot yourself in the foot. I've liked or understood roster and organization moves in recent times and remain happy with the direction and progress regardless of wins/losses. The most obvious example is development and progress of young players, which we are seeing.

One game can show potential, especially when combined with a lot of other single games earlier.

Thibs and company are out coaching and out dev'ing other staffs. Breath of fresh air. Front office gets A+ in my book for both coaching staff and draft

I'm excited to see how Obi pans out over the course of the season. IQ is easy to watch too.

Even with the loosing streak you can see the improvements on these players. Knox have been consistent with his outside shots, IQ was able to bounce back, RJ's free throws have been falling, Randle has sustained his good play. We are starting to see our young group of guys atarting to get it. This is a very young team, they will fall into mental lapses. Atleast now we are starting to see some form of movement in terms of team and individual development for this rebuild
