It's been documented that Leon loved Obi and wanted him. I'm not sure anyone thought Randle would adjust his game this much. Hal's shot has translated better than many GMs and people, myself included thought it would. He's gone and no sense trying to relive the past. Just try focusing on, the pick we absolutely nailed, IQ. You win some you lose some.
What does that have to do with Woods though? Stay on topic man

IQ is a Christian, which happens to Wood's first name. As we all know, there isn't room for TWO big-time Christians on the same team. If the Knicks drafted Hal, they wouldn't have drafted IQ and it would have freed them up to sign Wood. Geez Martin, follow along!

After 13 games its time for regret already?
Shutter to think we’d put wiseman in the Kwame Brown pile after a 20 game stint had we drafted him.
I think we gotta be patient. He did miss some time with an injury too so he could be abbot behind in that aspect. Rookie years can be funny. I’ve seen many players have a big rookie year then flame out. Others have a mediocre first year or even two then they hit their stride. Still a long way to go before making a determination one way or another
Briggs wants to know who dammit!!!!!!

This isn't Pokemon. Can't have them all. For every Anthony Randolph, Jimmer Fredette and Morris Almond you sign, you're going to miss out on a Christian Wood. Blame the gods, blame the salary cap, blame whoever. That's just the way the game is set up.

Agreed. Even Donovan Mitchell. Obviously more than 10 teams passed on him. Sometimes you get it right on target sometimes you don’t. Personally I’m still confident in Obi. I do think his injury hasn’t helped get him off to a great start. But it also may take him a year to get into the NBA groove even if he is older

hahaha
one man's Crabbe is another man's Woods

Linsanity was a Christian before Imsanity was though, so don't forget about that angle
And so was Landry Fields, and the connection between Fields and Woods is almost self-evident, but who cares...
Obi hasn't had a chance to get a rhythm. He will. and then Briggs sill fall in love and dump Woods

Exactly! That's why the Knicks had to let Jeremy go. Not enough room for him and Landry on the same roster.

Why? Those 2 could of played together

I have my doubts. I see a player with no position. No hope in guarding on the perimeter and no hope of defending centers in the paint. Im still very confused what they saw in him.

To be fair, I do agree with you and would have LOVED and wanted a draft of both IQ/Hali
Time will tell on this one
I believe Obi will pan out. If that ends up being the case, would rather draft a quality big, and a potential PG of the future. Avoid a "QB controversy" like with Jackson and Strickland, way back when.
The good ole days when we actually had 2 great point guards
Who didnt want to be "Robin". Which forced the FO to trade one of them.
