Knicks · Where is the Triplethreat poster? (page 1)

BRIGGS @ 2/6/2021 11:46 AM
Hasnt been around?
ESOMKnicks @ 2/6/2021 11:52 AM
Miss him. Hope he is okay, people had been saying earlier he had been dealing with some health issues, but then he got all right it seemed.
martin @ 2/6/2021 12:41 PM
Feel like he lurks every once a while and I hope the health is fine and our collective knuckleheadedness didn’t scare him off too much

LOL

Hope all is well with him. He was somewhat active up to the draft and then haven't seen him since.
lurts @ 2/6/2021 7:41 PM
To me, Trip is the GOAT. He knows the league beyond what's in the papers or on Twitter, understands sexual dynamics, and moves between the two with humor and insight. I echo the hope that he is with us.

He owes me a lunch! But I settle for him posting again

I vaguely remember he went overtly rogue against the Bidens during the election whole pre-election saga and disappeared shortly afterwards.
He was quotable on here in a good way.

Not too sure about the sexual dynamic thing though, other than he raised misogyny to a rather frightening level of argumentative intensity.

I wasn't a fan of his. Every post was a 10,000 word thesis worded as the definitive opinion on a given topic. The whole "I'm the smartest guy in the room" thing. Though I will admit, he was right and I was wrong on Mudiay. But then again, I lot of people were right about Mudiay being a bum. Had to take the L on that one. lol!

I doubt anything we said scared him off other than boredom. That dude flat out carried a torch and was lit!
I can’t say I agreed with much but when you deliver a message with that level of bombast one can’t help at least to admire the body of work! I can see how Briggs looked up to him.

Yeah, he probably spent more time on each of his posts than I spent on some of my college term papers (which may explain my GPA).

Well, I always tempered his "smartest, -male model looks- guy in the room" with his one-time, extremely determined opinion that Ron Baker was supposed to be our starting PG. Confirmed my faith in humanity as an example that everyone's wrong or at least incoherent at some level. Sometimes.
