Knicks · Where is Frank? (page 1)

Nalod @ 2/16/2021 7:53 AM
HE not on the bench, was in “protocol” but that was over a week. Do they have to report if he has covid? He bumming and quietly detached from team awaiting a trade? I’m just curious.
As a fan rooting for his ascent 3.5 years I’m looking for closure. Either get this kid going or lets move on!
If there was any beef I would imagine the beat reporters would be on it.
foosballnick @ 2/16/2021 8:31 AM
My understanding is that protocol can be up to 10 days. Not sure why you need closure? When he comes back he'll be on the bench until called/needed/traded.
knicks1248 @ 2/16/2021 9:14 AM
Fiz told me he was home playing fortnite & call of duty
jrodmc @ 2/16/2021 9:24 AM
It's been so long since the last Frank thread... maybe we can just sticky this one, martin?
wargames @ 2/16/2021 9:40 AM
He’s been injured and then COVID protocols. I still think he might get some minutes once he gets healthy

I doubt they're gonna play him, they wouldn't want him injured while they can still package him in a trade. It's not happening for him here, and the likelihood is it's not going to happen at NBA level either save for maybe a couple of seasons.

Look, We’ll see what happens. Everyone has been counting the kid out but he actually plays well when given minutes.

So why won't the play him when he's healthy?

He hasn’t been healthy since his last game. The photos they shared of him showed he was in a leg brace under his leg compression sleeves and Thibs gave a statement about how it takes time to heal, and then he got put under COVID protocols

Waldo finds himself haha! That's a great meme!

JesseDark @ 2/16/2021 11:46 AM
We'll always have his well produced work out videos. He's a beast knocking down treys with a sic handle.
I do want to see him play before they pull a trigger on a trade.

Though Frank Ntilikina was made available after a 3 ½-week absence with a sprained left knee, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau bluntly said the club’s 2017 lottery pick doesn’t yet have a playing role.

The biggest question i have is why the hell this dude doesnt request a trade, he needs to fire his agent, Thibs is not going to play him with or without a healthy Rose, so why just sit on the bench in a contract yr...

Maybe he has. Maybe your like the rest of us who don’t know.
Fire agent? Why, because you know things they don’t?

Kemet @ 2/16/2021 8:01 PM
The Rose Quickley, and Burk's guard-trio has the best offensive-chemistry in Thibs rotation lineups, they been outstanding at outscoring opponents.
Frank & MitchRob are still my best defensive winning players on the Knicks, but the D.Rose addition has Knicks players in the rotation gellin and playing at a win-win level.
I am surprise & shocked at the good performance we been getting from Bullock & Noel, I considered them garbage time players u have as the 15th and 14th man on the roster.
HofstraBBall @ 2/16/2021 10:03 PM
Frank is making another training video to get everyone's hopes up. And in every Frank homer's dreams.
TLover @ 2/16/2021 10:20 PM
Frank for Mo Bamba could possibly help out both teams.

Yep like I said he’s had a bad go of it this season.

Feel like you can say that for every season with Frank

Philc1 @ 2/17/2021 5:07 AM
COVID tracing protocols but yes, we will never see Frank play again in a knick uniform unless it’s a blowout and garbage time

The Knicks did Frank wrong. He was a Phil pick, Phil quit and the new Fizz/Perry regime hated him.

I wish Frank luck wherever he goes next offseason
