Knicks · Where is Frank? (page 4)

In our starting line up of the future. Together with Quickley

Media quoting Thibs going to stick to 10 man rotation and likely Frank back to the bench. Elf comes of the shelf and Frank to the bank.

I know Rose won’t always go 6-6 and give us vintage MVP performances every game but damn if it was not awesome to see that first period vs Sac and set the tone for the whole team. No wonder Briggs was swooning over Clyde, that game was almost worth another viewing!!!
I understand the seduction that PHil Jax had for wanting Rose.

And Rose didn’t pick up his option for next ugh wtf

Our only option is to make. Qualifying offer at 8.1mm representing a 25% increase over his final rookie scale contract year. No decision/action has been taken for or against Frank. His exclusion from trades speak for itself, thus far.

There was no option. we had a window to extend him BEFORE the season started. If he plays well his price goes up and we can match it. If not we can still match it.
After three years he might have been totally fine with seeing how it goes as well. His 4th coach in as many seasons and his third FO.
This group of coaches I have faith will either embrace him as they see the potential, including his body type and if he can mature to more healthy less injury prone player (It happens) or we pass and keep moving forward with other opportunities. If so deriving any value is always a plus.

all he needs to do is hit open 3's and he is a high end rotation piece. His ability to guard 1-3 makes him valuable but he can't hesitate when the ball rotates his way. We have spacing issues as it is. Can't have someone out there triiger shy

Make the offer. If he leaves as RFA the Knicks at least have a chance to match

I don’t think he gets QO money.....

3 years 16-18 mill should be enough.
