We have almost 16 mm in cap. If we are not interested in Drummond or anything like that—- than we have a valuable conduit which we can use to bring in draft assets and or young players.
Agree if we can use the space wisely
haha... YES
it should be really interesting. You have an agent's perspective into every team's needs and agenda from a year ago. Lets see what Leon does. I agree its a huge advantage and I hope nothing really happen but maybe a minor swap, a shitty contract and another FRP
Also owners are bleeding money. They dont like this and I'm waiting for some to dump assets for cash relief because phuck it, there are barely fans there anyway.
Its a unique landscape and Knicks SHOULD be in a position to be really involved in anything that goes down

Sux we can't use it to unstretch Noah
How about Bullock for Romeo Langford?
Celts are reeling and need bench. Langford out for the season with a broken wrist.
Celts might bite. Langford would be a nice stash player for next season.

Plug a Burk into the starting lineup and force Thibs to Rivers minutes? Thibs ain't going for that, but maybe Leon and Brock would.
Gallinari 20mil/3yrs(last year is 5 mil guaranteed)
Aaron Gord 18 mil/2 years
Bojan Bogdan 17mil/3 yrs
Gary Harris 19 mil/2 years
Porzingis 30 mil/4 years

Bledsoe 17 mil/3 years(last year $3mil guaranteed)
Horford 28 mil/3 years (last year $14.5 mil guaranteed)
Eric Gordon 17 mil/4 years(last year non guaranteed)
Not endorsing a trade for any of these guys, but these are the big contracts that come to mind with asset rich teams. Some would be a nice last resort in FA.

Bogdan and Harris are the only ones that interest me on that list.

The 2 best shooters and relatively young. But even Gallinari would help stretch the floor. I was always a huge fan and never liked when we traded him away. Looks like it turned out ok, but I say we bring him back for cheap, if that's even possible.

Yeah I’m not completely opposed to it. Someone has to pay Collins but the Hawks can’t be stupid enough to commit 40+ mil to 1 position. Could make their lives easier by taking on his deal but I’d want some form of compensation whether it’s a pick/ young guy.

I don't know about Harris. He has been a mediocre shooter the last few years. I know he's been injured, but he hasn't been really been the same.

I could do Gallo but I have concerns about him at SF. I don't know what he has been playing a majority of his time with ATL, but they don't need another PF. If I knew he would be specifically a SF, I would be in, because he will morph into a 6-10 shooter off the bench as his contract matures.
I think Denver has too many guys that play the same position to fully develop. Harris I think is at least a starter quality SG who upgrades Burks and Bullock.

Langford stinks. Iman Shumpert 2.0
