I feel like he's especially on this year - current candid and having fun
Nalod@ 2/27/2021 4:32 AM
Maybe the product on the floor is better making his job more fun? We say this after a 20 point blowout. IT was a great game to watch. Knick fans love to see the youthier guys succeed. Most NBA fans get excited when it happens. We are starved for success. Clyde is a fan and that just had to be fun!

I definitely think we have the best color commentator in the league!
Also agree that it certainly helps to have some winning basketball to commentate on.

A couple times this year I had to listen to commentary from the opposing team. Let me tell you, I had no idea how spoiled I was with quality of commentary in comparison. A completely different experience.
We really got it good on this end!

I used to really enjoy Marv and Johnny Hoops. Clyde and Mike are great too. I’m sure they’re responsible for keeping many fans tuned in while we’ve been stinkin’ it up on the court over the years.
They almost feel like family sometimes. I can even guess what they’re about to say about a play half the time, or finish their sentences before they do.
Watching games around the league with random commentators can be brutal!
Nalod@ 2/27/2021 8:50 AM
Mike Breen is a top talent and both fans and Clyde are super lucky to have him for our MSG broadcasts. Don’t over look his ability to set up Clyde to look good. Having league pass sometimes the MSG feed freezes up and I have to change. There are some good ones out there and its interesting to hear what others think of knicks. This year they are getting far more respect. ITs been earned!

Hall of fame player Hall of fame broadcaster Hall of fame wardrobe 2 Knicks championships= Greatest Knick of all time without question

Not a game goes by that he doesn't say something to make me laugh
nyvector16@ 2/27/2021 12:43 PM
I remember Clyde making me spit out my drink back when he was broadcasting a game against the Nets some years back. Jason Kid was taking the court.. and he had just split with his wife after accusations of Domestic Abuse.. -- Clyde says "There's Jason Kidd, missing that home cookin' lately"
I know the topic is not funny, but when Clyde said that I kind of lost it...

Ive only ever known Mike and Clyde and boy I do feel spoiled
TLover@ 2/28/2021 1:41 AM
Clyde & Kenny together is the best! Breen is a nice guy (but irritating). I’m taking Kenny Albert all day over Mike Breen.
Philc1@ 2/28/2021 6:56 AM
Greatest knick ever and always a pleasure to listen to

Yup. I go Marv and John first. Then Breen and Clyde.
