Knicks · Oladipo is still an option but a new 3&D guy is gaining interest from the FO (page 2)

I would give Knox and the second of our first rd picks for powell

Today

why? He's a FA. Why give up a first rounder for a guy you can sign in a few months?

Powell is nice, I am down for signing him... why pay twice?

Because everyone is desperate for a playoff season..... even when it might hurt us long term

A player that the FO might look to trade for is Toronto's Norman Powel, I haven't seen much of the raptors but Powel is having a good year, averaging 19pts on over 40% 3pt shooting. He is in contract for 2 more years after this year at 11M/year i think. He seems to be a nice pick up.

What trade package will get that done? Ideally we can give Burks and payton and a second rounder?

Powell will be an UFA this summer, he has a player option for next year.

This. Mentioned Powell as one of the guys I would like to see the Knicks add on several other threads. He is due a significant pay raise though but I feel he is a fringe next-level player. But agree, why would you give up assets if it is clear that he and his agent will test the market to see just how much of a raise he should get.

Also have mentioned Trent Jr. Feel he may be open to playing on another team. One that gives him a bigger role. He does not seem happy sitting on the bench in close games.

The problem with Trent Jr. is that he's an UFA. You definitely have to overpay and the whole offer sheet process makes it hard to chase other guys.

You’re right on. I’m willing to pay for this year. The least of the ones for a good run n the playoffs Leaves us with a good 1 and high 2

I mean if they would take the high 2 plus Knox???? I don’t think they would

The players that are linked with the knicks or atleast the mock drafts involving the knicks have them trading away a tone of assets. In the lines of player development, who are possible buy low with high reward targets the knicks could look at?

Noel has been a ton of help with the knicks but if they want to cash in with his productivity and trade him for assets, would you consider a swap of Frank for Mo Bamba?

Who else can we trade for in these lines?

Not to mention how many times we struck out in FA, there's no way you can comfortably feel you have the upper hand.
