Honestly i would offer Porter a contract into next year as well. We won't blow all the money and i assume other than a big offer for Ball or Lowry we will be left with plenty of leftover cash, even after resigning the guys we want to (Rose, Burks, Bullock, Noel). Might as well treat this like early free agency. Offer Porter a contract for this year and a big 1-year extension for next season. He would be a huge upgrade over Toppin/Knox as a backup 3/4 for the next couple of seasons.

I'm hearing the knicks and Lakers will be Drummonds top 2 choices.

Porter would make sense, but reports are he won’t be offered a buyout.
