I will say that he came into the season with a reputation as shooter. It's not out of the question that his consistency will develop, but who knows? Scouts also said the same thing about Dante Exum. I like Giddey as a draft and stash guy.

So the gauge should be ONE kid who seems to have turned it around for 40 games as the measure if a 30% shooter will make it in the NBA? Guess we will ignore how every other kid that shot under 30% progressed as a shooter? I will venture to guess, without researching, that it did not turn out well for them.
Btw, my point was why claim he is someone "who can shoot"? As it represents present tense.

We could stand some taller players with good fundamentals. Honestly this guy looks much more like a lottery pick. He’s the top or close to top international. I like the idea of a 6-8 pg. He can see over anyone and with a good wingspan even with what looks like average athletic ability should be able to compensate with additional length

Yeah the release speed on his shot is a problem. No explosion either. You can exceed without it but getting to the rim gets tougher

Yeah the release speed on his shot is a problem. No explosion either. You can exceed without it but getting to the rim gets tougher
If he was super explosive with a perfect release at 6-8 hed be a top 3 pick? He avg 11--6-6 in the pro leagues at 18 6-8 PGs hard to find. I doubt he lasts to 15-18 I think hes a lottery pick. But if hes not hed be a nice mid to later rd selction.

From last night. Weird how his shot looks much more sped up here compared to earlier but he’s quite impressive. Definitely my “talent” pick after Bouknight.
