Second season in a row. Looks like a chronic issue. I heard one comment about him that the NBA game might have turned out to be too fast for him after his success in college. But his good early Dallas years were certainly no fluke. Feels like his back is shot. Which is why Dallas gave up on him. And why he may never regain even his rookie form.
At one level I feel bad for Dennis. At another level, I'm like Frank and KK are better players and getting less opportunity at the moment. And I suspect there are many others in the NBA and G league in same boat
I think teams know he could only go right, and now it's compounded by health. Dennis would not have been drafted at all in his current form
