Just hit me when I read this...At this point in the season we are usually wondering whether we might get the 4th pick in the draft...now we're thinking of a 4th seed.

We winning without Mitch and BUrks. Most of us were throwing Money at Alec in the hype of winning!

What a game! 8 straight! Before the starting of the season Vegas pegged the knicks to win only 22.5 games this season, fast forward to present and the Knicks have a chance to fight for home court advantage in the playoffs! Im trying to let that sink in...
I want this team to be intact for next year. Just add a new starting point guard and consolidate all 4 draft picks and maybe attach Knox or Frank to move up to hopefully a top 10-15 pick in the draft and get 1 rookie.
Just let go of Payton for an upgraded starting PG. if they dont trade a player just Release Pinson and just sign him in some capacity with the team. That two roster space for a starting pg and a rookie. This team is showing that they are special, just keep almost everyone and just add a couple of players and watch this team develop and grow the next 3-5 years!
Payton is part of the team. I’m so prone now after his bashing that when he makes good plays, even the hustle ones after a mistake I’m like “Team winning, of course we should strive to imporove and I can’t imagine the team is not, but he is part of the winnng formula. He plays well enough until rose gets in. Thibs has reduced his minutes.
“Moving up”.......Teams have to be motives to move down. These are often draft day type moves IF at all. Teams get enthralled with a player and moves up or down to position. We had it bad for Quick and we wrangled up and down to get him in a productive way. Perhaps we whiffed on a different player as well,, then went for IQ. It was a weird draft for Aller. Love to see a recap of how it actually went down.
