Payton is part of the team. I’m so prone now after his bashing that when he makes good plays, even the hustle ones after a mistake I’m like “Team winning, of course we should strive to imporove and I can’t imagine the team is not, but he is part of the winnng formula. He plays well enough until rose gets in. Thibs has reduced his minutes.
“Moving up”.......Teams have to be motives to move down. These are often draft day type moves IF at all. Teams get enthralled with a player and moves up or down to position. We had it bad for Quick and we wrangled up and down to get him in a productive way. Perhaps we whiffed on a different player as well,, then went for IQ. It was a weird draft for Aller. Love to see a recap of how it actually went down.

And I wonder who led that charge? Hmmmmmmmm. You just had to go there.

Eff Shaq, the good times are back, boys and girls! (Hi Cancel Culture, whatever you are!)
If when Burks comes back he can get back to how he was before COVID added with how well Quick and Rose are playing now we can really cause some problems in the playoffs. We are on the low end for talent so we will need everyone to contribute but it would be amazing if we can win a round in the playoffs.

Jason Kidd?
It was InvisaCamby of course, you idiot. Not that hat-wearing, fat smiling slob scoring 50 and 40 points a game...
Feel like even in limited minutes, Obi's defense and activity level is progressing

I would add his rebounding is also improving. Multiple times last night I caught myself saying good job Obi. The stats may not show it yet but he is improving.

OMG, yes. That was when melo returned form an injury and was well rested, w finished like 14-4, or something like that, Melo was the player of the month in April, lead the league in scoring, ran into buildings to save people in fires, was top 5, maybe 3rd in MVP voting, Swagged into the opening round of players and had a funeral to buy KD and the Celtics? Yes, we bow our heads in honor of that season and all the glory of Melo and great season he performed!

Don't forget the charity work in Redhook, diving into chairs for loose balls, pre-season team hugs in Puerto Rico, secretly curing cancer, peace in the Middle East through Olympic Gold victories, calming the Korean missile crisis and that great TMZ walk to the bodega in a bathrobe! I believe he also bought Mardy Collins' mom a house in Miami!
I haven't been this high on Knicks Kool Aid in many years!
This feels about right, except when you know who has the ball
