The world has turned. I feel like a feature where instead of having to reply to a post, one can show agreement or disagreement with it should have a place in a forum like this.
Y suspicion is that this site is more popular with hoops fans/reporters and even players than we know about. This gives a greater panoply of people a chance to have their say without the (often pointless) drudgery of coming up with a reply.
Thoughts?

Oh we didn’t shoot it down, I think we all really want it.
I’ve got it halfway done, just need a bit more time (and just a hint of better health to work on it).
I’ve been working on a bunch of things for site, just need to get past a few life things at the moment.
Soon’ish!

One of the best things about Ultimateknicks is the simple style — not a fan of new fancy.

Long as you're healthy and happy brother
Sounds like facebook.

Being too busy to post isnt a good reason to add this feature.
Dont believe making this site more friendly to posters who rarely comment is the best use of resources, or time.
TikTok integration please.
The main thing I miss is the game calendar in the footer ((i.e., the horizontal bar with all the upcoming games). Of course, it's pretty easy just to ask Siri "When's the next NYK game?"

That's a pretty good point. Why cater to folks who can't be bothered?
I like the barebones feel. My only nit is the bug on the mobile site. When you reply via quote special characters are replaced by a string of characters.
Question to all:. Do you guys use the mobile site when using your phone?
Also.. instagram tags don't work on the mobile site

Agree about the barebones feel. If the mods ever want to change the look of the site. The now long defunct Knicks4Life website had a nice orange and blue background. Maybe add some avatars. Wondering which will come first, avatars on UK, or the sequel to "Avatar". Ha ha.
I understand some of you have very busy lives. firely is doing commendable work with covid patients in the UK, and has all our respect.
Believe that a voting feature will change the vibe of this place. Seen it on other sites. The only opinion I really want to hear are from those who are willing to share them. Wether or not I reply.
fishmike spoke of UK being like a neighborhood bar. I feel that way about the gamethread. The other threads feel more like the conversations I had back in NY. 3 teams back, waiting to have next at 3 on 3. No 400 word speeches, lol, but the same vibe.
If posters who dont have enough time to post want to be more involved in sharing their opinions. polls are a great way to do that. Maybe more polls about what won or lost a game. Who played the biggest role. Whats the best path forward. Keep the threads to those who have the time to be part of the conversation.

++1 Agreed. This is a great site for all genuine Knicks fans both foreign and domestic! Both informative and insightful.
Absolute pleasure sir. You and the forum mods should be highly commended.
