He was terrible as knick, but has been solid everywhere else..

man feel like that's 75% of the players that are formerly on the Knicks

Ha, I would say like it feels like 75% of the players who were on the Knicks the past several years are out the league. It's just that the ones who are still playing standout more.

They're not all comparable, but from last year's Knicks (to go with Mcdermott -- and Kornet if you will ; ) ) Marcus Morris Sr. for the Clips and Bobby Portis for the Bucks have been important contributors to championship contenders. Also Wayne Ellington had a decent season for the Pistons and even Iggy made a statement in 8 games for the Magic. Interestingly the much loved Damyean Dotson (wash out in Cleveland) and Alonzo Trier (out of the league) were the only real busts.

Oh, I'm going back even further hahaha Shved, Sergio Rodriguez, Ron Baker, Shane Larkin, the twin brother who played at UCLA, Cleanthony Early and now, I guess, Jeremy Lin 😥

And Timmy and even Trey have done pretty okay in Dallas. That wasn't a bad trade they made for those two guys....

In case anyone’s wondering, here’s our play off experience:

Noel: 2 playoffs, averaged around 12mins per game both times (2019 & 2020)
Bullock: 2 playoffs, averaged 2.5mins first time, 11mins second (only 2 games each time though) (2014 & 2016)
Rose: 6 playoffs, full time mins, (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2018), played well with particularly good percentages in 2018 for the Wolves
Burks: 3 playoffs, terrible shooting stats last playoffs, but decent in 2018 (2012, 2018, 2020)
Taj Gibson: 8 Playoffs (2010-15, 2017, 2018)

Not great, but better than nothing, hopefully Rose and Taj can give great leadership to the guys that haven’t been in the playoffs yet.

Anyone know what the Hawks experience is like?

Shame Randle hasn’t been yet, bit worried he and RJ will try too hard in the first game (they seem to get the jitters sometimes in these type of situations)

Actual ESPN interview with Ja Morant. "The other night you tweeted out "2 games 1 at a time". What was the message you were trying to send with that?"

Riveting journalism here guys.

Luca Vildoza, will be arriving in New York sometime in the weekend. There might be a very small chance he can see playoff minutes if the Knicks advances to the second round but that is still a very small chance he can see the court. Will probably use this time to get familiar with the coaching staff, the players and the city.

Just in time to get the best seats for a playoff game. Hope he turns into an important asset for us!

A week or so to quarantine, another 5 days to learn cheers from Theo, just in time for second round.... yeah that sounds about right.

Why does he always fold in a must win game?

I don't know. I like the dude, but he's been consistently booty. He might have a mental block.
BigDaddyG @ 5/19/2021 10:42 PM
This Lakers/GSW he is rough.
Clean @ 5/20/2021 12:31 AM
It seems like playoff fouls rules are already in effect. This could work out in our favor. If Trae goes from shooting 17 fts against us to 9 or 10 that's good for us.
Clean @ 5/20/2021 12:35 AM
Just as I type that they are calling soft moving screen flops.
TPercy @ 5/20/2021 12:41 AM
Curry is so good at basketball. It’s a damn shame Curry had no help cuz he deserves another run at a title.
TPercy @ 5/20/2021 12:49 AM
Also I know it’s just 1 game and I haven’t seen much of Lakers but Shroeder looked awful. He didn’t really look to create for others and his poor shooting seems pretty reflective of career stats.
Clean @ 5/20/2021 12:52 AM
While I would have liked Curry to win I think the Lakers winning works out best for us. If the Lakers can sweep the Suns in the 1st round maybe one of their stars become disgruntled and maybe we can then obtain them in the offseason. It is a long shot but you never know.

Vintage Playoff Derozen- can we ban anyone who suggests we sign him during the offseason?!

I'm not convinced the Lakers will beat the Suns, they're very messy at the moment

Agreed. They replaced Rondo, High IQ point guard with championship pedigree, with Schroder who is very inconsistent. McGee made sense last year as a shot blocking, rim running big. Drummond just seems to be in the way. They closed an important game last night with their starting PG and starting Center on the bench. They lack the same cohesion they had last year, and don't seem to be on the same page. I'm not expecting a long playoff run from the Lakers this year.
