I'm not convinced the Lakers will beat the Suns, they're very messy at the moment
Agreed. They replaced Rondo, High IQ point guard with championship pedigree, with Schroder who is very inconsistent. McGee made sense last year as a shot blocking, rim running big. Drummond just seems to be in the way. They closed an important game last night with their starting PG and starting Center on the bench. They lack the same cohesion they had last year, and don't seem to be on the same page. I'm not expecting a long playoff run from the Lakers this year.

The suns should be proud of the record they have, I don't think anyone had them down as a contender so a 2nd round exit is more encouraging then deflating considering where they were last season, and the 7 seasons prior to that.
For the lakers, it's very telling where the league is today when Centers like Harrell and Drummond only get TOKEN minutes against a team that has Looney as there's starting center, and lost on a lebron 3 point heave.

Vintage Playoff Derozen- can we ban anyone who suggests we sign him during the offseason?!
I will be running and hiding

First prize -- a free ticket to a Nets game. Second prize -- two tickets....

that is so awesome!! now they just need to crash and burn
all that said, for some inexplicable reason i like harden even with his lack of D. Personally i think that is somewhat by design via D'Antoni because he wanted Harden on the floor as long as he could have him and he was more net benefit on O than D and they had a guy like Capella behind him.
I do not like Durant -- total bitch to OKC and then a Diva
And Kyrie is a bona fide cuckoo bird

I know it’s been mentioned before but Sabonis is an awful defender. I feel like Pacers would do well to move on from him instead of Turner
That Davis Bertans contract...not looking that good this season

Glad we didn’t get him at that fee. Can’t overpay for a one dimensional talent you could get for a 2nd round pick in any draft.
Funny, “Nobody talking about the nets in ny” except Knick fans talking about how nobody is talking about them.........
The story is Nets are an NBA story not a NYC story.
Funnier that Knick fans are talking about pathetic Nets ticket giveaways, while 15,000 Knick fans will attend the playoffs.
Even more funny, is that Nalod will defend the Nets on a Knicks board no matter how things look.
It's all about the narrative within the narrative. While narrating.

Yes. And younger without the knee issues

After watching THIBS take marginal individual defenders and turn them into solid team defenders. I'm convinced that it's all about the preparation and paying attn to details.
DS does a lot of other good things, and his father (who i thought was such a crafty player) should be proud

He's better than the version of his dad that played in the NBA. Crazy.
But yeah, he already has a pretty complete offensive game - now he needs to put more time focusing on his D. He needs a mobile forward to help him out. (Perhaps Turner is the guy - but he also needs defensive work in spite of his blocked shots)
