Some people complain about him taking some time off during regular season. But that rest is critical.

Disagree...As good as Doncic is on the offensive end, he has a long way to go on the defensive end of the ball. The gap between Luka and Kwahi on offense is slight. The gap between Luka and Kwahi on the defensive side is Grand Canyon-like. The fact that the clippers were seeking out Luka on PNR's is another indictment on his defensive skills.

Ok, thats nice. Not a bad idea. In fact, Kawahi is better than Lebron! He is also potentially a free agent.

Kawhi seems to be nursing some injuries he's had for about 3-4 seasons now - load management has been part of life for him, including the title season with Toronto. He's missed games due to foot soreness, ankle injuries, and the big mysterious "quad" issue that led to his departure from SA. A bit like Lebron, who's been taken down by injuries in 2 of the last 3 seasons.

I think adding him (or Lebron) at SF would make the Knicks instant contenders... and all we're looking for is 1 magical year.

Expecting LeBron to think of anyone on a team as anything more than cogs in his brand machine is a bit much. His history doesn't point to that sort of mindset.

BTW....Bron has done more for his community than almost everybody in this forum, including me. So personally it's very difficult for me to hate on someone over a game, when in life he's winning.

And exactly how do you envision everybody in this forum comparing to what someone sitting on half a billion manages to do for his community? I understand the fanboy LeBron love. As Triple stated, it's the consensus view, and I'd probably think differently if he had decisioned his way to NYC.

But he's outright quit on his team in the playoffs before, he's a poster child for flopping (not that he's the only one) and the list goes on and on. You choose to ignore that and love his life, good for you.

I would expect the Captain to go down with the ship. Its not a good look for him. Wanted a 5 min head start on his rub down. We hold him to a higher standard based on his role as the face of the NBA. If Elfrid Payton walked off the court during a loss we wouldn't notice. Austin Rivers refused to show up and we barely noticed. His position in the NBA commands a higher level of scrutiny and a greater obligation to present as a role model. It just is.

Off the Court, his help for the community is positive and I can appreciate him for that. I can also ask how many kids are going to storm out on their team in frustration thinking its ok to get a head start on whatever they have next... homework or whatever. Also recognize that his help for the community is part of his brand. I wholeheartedly love community outreach programs even though those same kids are wearing Lebrons while the camera guy is filming.

Your argument about doing more than this board is just dumb. I cannot match the cash output that LBJ can. Nor can I match Michael Bloomberg. But as a fraction of income and time, do you really believe he is doing more for the community than people on this board? Those of us with entirely altruistic intentions? I don't believe a donation excuses bad behavior. It is completely unrelated.

He wants the title without putting in the work. He learned in Cleveland that he couldn't do it alone, and he learned that again in LA. He'll be barking for a 3rd top 10 player soon enough. I'm just ready for him to retire.

Sorry to over generalize...but I was actually talking to 1 person. I just used a bad choice of words in my reply. In reality how u feel about Bron is your choice. I don't even know or use the term fan boy. Sorry...that went over my head. But I'm a John starks fan, in case you want to know, not Lebron. I do respect Lebrons community support and social justice out cry.
