When you have an organization that doesn’t really develop players in the past and A continuous Revolving door for coaches. It’s thought to develop any continuity. So solidifying anything is very difficult.

You can sign him and play him alongside Barrett, Rose, or Quickley in the backcourt, or after trading for Beal, LaVine, D Mitchell, etc. He fits anywhere. In a line-up of Ball, Barrett, Bullock, Randle, and Robinson, you're still short on perimeter playmaking, but you hope signing Ball serves as a precursor to replacing Bullock with an elite playmaking wing.
Dude took a total of 7 FT in the month of april, and it's been well documented that he does not penetrate to the hole.
He also did not lead the Pels to the playoffs at no point in his tenure. They literally drafted a pg even though they had him
You can't pay him more than 15 per and that would be a 2 yr deal
guards i think the knicks should pick up the phone and see if they are available

Garland
Fox
haliburton
Lillard

Yeah but I think what he's saying is that you sign Ball not to be your PG, but as an upgrade to Bullock which isn't the worst idea.
I never thought of it that way. He would be like Bullock but that can offer you other things besides a streaky 3pt shot. I wanted Lonzo at the start but him not being able to break down the D in half court turned me off about him since that is what we need most. Viewing him like this makes me want him a little more again. In the case of injuries he can also fill in a lot of places.

Great thread. Rainman whining hissy fit after Trae puts on a display of clutch.
Well to answer Op’s question. In the early 90’s we had a star pg and then traded him for overrated stat guy Charles Smith and over the hill Doc Rivers. Followed by Derek Harper - a good but old player. We then had the Ward/Childs platoon for about 5 years — both average players
2003- until recent our official and unofficial GM Isiah thought he knew the pg position and kept forcing us to acquire crappy players who reminded him of himself (Marbury, DSJ)

I think IQ develops into a Jason Terry type of pg
