Knicks not offering him a qualifying offer.

His reluctance to shoot was so annoying.
I think he had opportunities over the past 4 years, just never took full advantage.
I hope Elf is up to the task next season
Frank back to us for the vets minimum or think he finds another home or goes back to France?
Personally I would like to have him back but think it would be a lot better for him to go to another team.

You gonna spam every thread with more love for Elf than his own mama has? Enough already
Kid was a major bust and played with no heart and no passion. He played timid and scared.
He's also doing absolutely nothingness for team France throughout these Olympics.
Heading into his 5th year?
An NBA career average of only 5.5 points, 2.7 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.2 blocks per game?
An NBA career FG% of only .366% and a career 3PT% of only .328%?
No confidence and only shot .444% from the FREE THROW line last year?
Frank Ntilikina (unfortunately) absolutely stinks at basketball and good luck to him in France for all I care - because he's awful at playing American basketball
(Thankfully I won't have to run to Google anymore in order to spell his last name of 'Ntilikina').
Frank had his timid issues but he also did not have the best support system here…he gets drafted by Pop and them and he is a different player……IMO
I think the haters will miss him most of all.
I have been a big Frank supporter but his ship has sailed for this team and i wouldn't be surprised if it has sailed in the NBA
I wouldn't be surprised if he lands a backup gig with Spurs or Celts or some team like that, but i suspect he goes to Europe
Frank would show occasional flashes of talent on the offensive end every now and then, but as some have said, his lack of offensive aggressiveness was painful to watch at times. He was too deferential at a position which calls for an attacking mentality, even if it means your being aggressive so you can set up a fellow teammate for a good shot. Used to drive me crazy at times.
I can see him being picked up by an NBA team for a minimal salary as a defensive specialist...and maybe some coach will be able to reach him, but who knows at this point what he'll do. He probably could've used some time in the D-League, or whatever they call it now, and been told to take at least 20 shots a game. Doesn't matter now, though, he will be somebody else's concern.
The most divisive topic for the past 4 years has been about Frank. Now what are we going to argue about??

Frank, I wish you well buddy. Thanks for the memories.
Can the Knicks still sign and trade him? I think the rule is the player has to?be on the teams final roster to s and trade. Not sure if renouncing rights also effects the ability to sign and trade.
I am going to give my prediction here, hang my a$s out , if you will. Frank is a system player. He will get signed by a team with an actual offensive system in place. He will likely start in a year or two after getting consistent playing time. He plays D and shot 47% from 3 last season. Him getting picked up by another team is a guarantee

The knicks tried to trade him to 29 other teams over the last 2 seasons, and couldn't even get them to pick up the phone. Detroit laughed and said no thank you, will take DSJ
There was at least 25 guards in this yrs draft alone that's better than him right out of the gate. Every guard that che knicks acquired during his tknick tenure out played him.
The end game came when Fizdale started the rookie RJ at point over frank..I would have demanded a trade after that game

I know, I know. That's why I said" hanging my ass out" it might not seem likely now. It's only my opinion

When he wins a ring with the nets next season they can gloat about him shooting 39% from 3

Yeah on less attempts than the 50 he had here.
