All of our picks showed nba talent
I think Sims will need a full year of g league and to focus on becoming more aware of in game nuance.
He did a solid job of a garbage man. On night 1 he looked like an obnoxious steal of a pick but still played to an nba standard
Two higher picks showed good skills . Grimes didn’t shoot it great but u can see where he can.
McBride more of an upgraded chris childs with a tiny bit of Starks.

Really missed Kevin Knox getting court time. He should have gotten Seldons minutes and we could have seen what he has with decent minutes. A 7-9 game from 3 point land would have been sweet.

Yeah...a cruel twist of fate for KK. Would've been great to see him get some minutes with this SL roster.

We drafted 4 rookies and all four look like they can play at an NBA level. That is an amazing draft result.
Looking over these highlights and person you see second most in them is Sims. He sets some good hard screens. He sets the kind of screens I have wished Mitch set for years.
Edit:
They were so concerned with the screen they committed 3 people to try and stop it. They did something I hate and doubled off a player who was 1 pass away.

IQ + Thibbs = short leash. He really needs to work on his handles. He beat nobody off the dribble. Maybe more p-n-r with Simms will help, or a player who will set an actual screen. I Q chucking is meh
He also needs an old man mid range game
The major weakness our main team and Summer team has is barely anyone who can drive to the hoop without a PNR. Last year we had Rose and that's about it. Him breaking down the D was the reason why we played so much better when we got him.
Well there was that Payton guy that I can’t wait to forget. I was always surprised when he made a shot, but he was able to always get to the basket.
The fact that Sims can set screens is huge. Too many bigs come into the league not knowing how to set screens and it baffles me
