I'm cool with this season as long as our Knicks are above .500 and make the playoffs and play a lot better in the series. Don't care who wins the championship as long as it's not the Nets, Heat or Lakers. I like Melo but I cannot root for LeBron. Or KD/Harden/Kyrie or Pat Riley.
Sort of rooting for someone like Utah or Denver to win it this season.

Not being engaged. Not wanting to do what everyone else is doing.
And people wanted to trade for this ahole.
Maybe we could swing a three way and get him and Kyrie.
From Shams:
Sources: Doc Rivers asked Ben Simmons to join a defensive drill today. Simmons refused. Rivers asked again. Simmons said no again. Rivers then told Simmons he should go home, and Simmons dropped the ball and left.
The one thing he knows how to do. Not like Doc asked him to shoot free throws or 3's...

Was it Bynum who just kept immediately shooting the ball in practice whenever someone passed to him? I assumed Simmons would do something like that (expect maybe just launch a three every time)

The sad truth is the best way to get moved isn't holding out, but actually showing, engaging and being as big if an @$$hole as possible.
Simmons has leapfrogged the s#!t list to second place right behind KP for me. What a schmuck.

True, though not to go completely full-a**hole where you give them a way to suspend you and you lose your money- Simmons might need to make it slightly less obvious and just play-to-rule (i.e. do the absolute minimum level of effort without breaking any rules- Harden seemed to effect that last year

Naw...I'm just waiting for Simmons to throw a sweaty towel at Doc's face during a timeout
Ben needs to show his full dissatisfaction for the way this franchy disrespected him! Also, I want to add that this is why these smaller markets should stop complaining about any perceived lack of attention. We saw what happened when a drunk Oak got kicked out of MSG. Imagine if this was taking place in the Knicks locker room right now.
Bucks with a comfortable lead most of the first quarter. Scored 37 points.
Kyrie has 0 points.

Nets bench:
Nets and Lakers lose on opening night - a fine start to the season 🙂

It was the perfect way to start the season! But watching Melo in that jersey is sickening!

KD gets a finger in the eye and LeQ and AD have to spend time consoling Westbrook because he's obviously not going to be getting his daily triple double with this team...

I don’t like it. But I wish him success.
Only one game, no Zion, but Philly winning by 20 without "that man"???
Furkan Korkmaz - a G/F with a jumper!
Some great games and performances- LaMelo was great, and looks like Ja Morant has his athleticism back- I was worried he'd lost it last season after he came back from that injury and looked so conservative out there.
Mavs/Hawks on TNT in a few minutes.

Lol! Super MSG villain night on TNT.
Here is what I want, I want KP to snap his leg and his tibia tear the the flesh in full view while 19,000 Texans puke their stupid right politics guts up! Then Janis rushes to his brothers side and slips IN a mess of texmex vomit and slides all up and in it. Its gross as hell, but Fuck Janis and the MAV horse logo he humps on.
Too soon? yeah, i thought I went too far.
At least that shuts down the “we lost the KP trade nonsense”
Once all cleaned up, Frank comes in and makes Trae look the fool. Mavs win while Frank hangs 26 and 5 dimes to Doncic. Rips his jersey and yells at the Knicks fans who doubted him.
Actually the Fibia Tear is more likely.
