Amateurs, come back when you've done this in like 15 consecutive games

If this was really off instinct then Sims has a place in the NBA. A good screener is very valuable in the NBA.

For me, Sims is light years ahead of where Mitch is on PnR placement and adjustment. It shows and that was nice

All of our centers show different strengths which are valuable to us... Sims with the screens, Mitch with the offensive rebounding and Noel seems to block the rim well and directly when challenged. Let's hope Sims soaks up a lot as he could be our best option in a few seasons - inexpensive, young, doesn't need the ball, athletic, hustles, etc

Interested to see if they make the same mistake as they did the last time. Just plugging Obi in as a starter is lazy. The starters don't fit his game. Play him with the youth but increase his minutes.

Obi will play no more than 15mins. It's like the movie Speed- Obi's minutes must be kept below 15 or Thibs believes he will explode

Pop quiz hotshot. Your lottery pick from a year ago is Kevin Knox the PF version. He can run like a deer and jump like Air Jordan but he will miss every shot he takes that isn’t a dunk. What do you do?

As suspected, love how they can just completely change the rules halfway into the season without acknowledging it. Who outside of Trae Young, Harden and CP3 actually want this ****? It’s so tedious to watch.

In todays world they need to be making the live games shorter to watch, not longer. Also, like I’ve said before, I think they should have 40-48min edits of games people can watch the next day- the current full games are too long, and the highlights package/condensed game too short. People just don’t have 1.5-2hrs to spare to watch games

How much do refs make? Whatever it is, maybe pay them more and attract more people to the industry. Then you reward the competent ones with game play salary and bonuses? At some point a billion dollar industry needs to acknowledge their officiating is a serious problem and take steps to improve it

How much do refs in the nba and nfl make? Well are we counting their official league salaries or what the bookmakers in Vegas are paying them which is conservatively triple the money

Nets' Simmons has a herniated disc. Out "indefinitely." Back problems not good for professional athletes.

I don't wish an injury on anyone, not even KP (well, maybe his brother), but the Nets' (and Lakers) woes do provide me some cold comfort for this awful season.

+1
Don't care about Lakers woes so much, but I'm listening daily to Sixers fans (I'm in South Jersey, so it's like living in a Philly suburb) that are sick of Harden's BS already. A trade that has brought a slight amount of comfort on both fronts!

Hasslem and coach going after Bulter, whoa

I guess Heat culture really isn't that different than Reilly Knicks culture
Clean @ 3/24/2022 12:55 AM

I don't usually agree wit him but he is right. I absolutely love what UD did for his coach. This is exactly what he is kept around for. Bulter is not going to bring that type of energy to Spo. UD going to keep him in check 1 way or another. This will not turn into Minnesota. When you have a great coach you go to bat for him like UD did.

I think this is a good culture thing. It shows why the Heat kept Udonis around. Bulter tried to do what he did on the Wolves and Udonis was not having any of it. He stomped that out instantly.

We are back to this again.
