Yeah... it's the idea that at least one of these teams is going to have a brutal 3nd to their season that keeps me going. Mark Jackson can't ruin that for me.

MaTT4281 @ 5/29/2022 11:19 PM
We'll shit, I legitimately thought we were going to be better than the C's this year.
ToddTT @ 5/29/2022 11:21 PM
It’s clear that the missing piece for the Heat is Evan Fournier.

That moment when the father time crept up on Lowrey and the Miami magic thing don’t work out.
Duncan contract has lots of incentives but he got moved to the bench. Miami fans must be all ugly about the ending……..
Differnence is they succeed! Kudos to Strus, and the strides they made this season after Haslaem almost beat up Jimmy.

Riley gets a lot out of his guys and seemingly Spolstra is built for it. THey is one tough team and they keep coming at you.

Chandler @ 5/30/2022 8:39 AM
how are the Heat under the cap? Butler, Bam, Lowry Oladipo, Duncan (most expensive bench warmer in NBA)

i like Butler and Bam because i think they play the right way, and seem to be decent dudes, but i am glad they and Pat the Rat lost

Hats off to Ime Udoke. He got the Celts to largely stop complaining about ref calls and instead raising their hands when they fouled. I think it kept them better focused

One thing I have learned about the Lakers and Heat. They always get who they want. NO matter how trash their assets are or how over the cap they are they always get who they want. We never get anyone unless they are 2nd rate or past their prime and about to start breaking down. I wonder who the Heat and Lakers will get to get turned back into contenders.

Lowrey and Duncan. $28M, $29M for Lowrey and $17M, $18M, $19M and then $10 of $20M guaranteed for the last year for Duncan.

Riley would have traded multiple firsts for this guy before the series started

beers stuff he drops lack a lot. gs missed the playoffs for 2 straight years during this time. why? injuries. bk has had to deal with them, they kinda... hurt (team, player, etc).

Beer’s stuff is effective. Some good nuggets and fodder for gullible to bite off simple feel good snips.

This was obviously not meant to be taken so seriously. It is a simple factoid that is extra interesting because no one thought it would be possible with the super team the Nets ended up making and the fact that both teams are they ones they left is the icing on the cake. Twitter is a place where it's mostly memes and Sh*tposts. Try not to take it so seriously. He will make articles when he is trying to take on serious topics.

Clean @ 5/30/2022 4:49 PM

I wont go as far to say a future star like the tweet does but I will say we need to give him a legit chance as a starter next season. It took awhile for him to figure out PG but when it finally clicked he looked like a natural PG.

Clean @ 5/30/2022 8:11 PM
Another factoid that is not to be taken too seriously but it still interesting is that from 2010 every single finals has had a former Knicks in it. Luke Kornet is the former Knicks still keeping this streak alive this year.

Here is a list of the previous years I saw someone compile.

2010: Nate Robinson, Boston Celtics

2011: Tyson Chandler, Dallas Mavericks

2012: Eddy Curry, Miami Heat

2013: Tracy McGrady, San Antonio Spurs

2014: Toney Douglas, Miami Heat

2015: David Lee, Golden State Warriors

2016: Channing Frye, Cleveland Cavaliers

2017: Matt Barnes, Golden State Warriors

2018: J.R. Smith, Cleveland Cavaliers

2019: Jeremy Lin, Toronto Raptors

2020: J.R. Smith, Los Angeles Lakers

2021: Bobby Portis, Milwaukee Bucks

Only thing is I think Quick is better off the bench with his energy. Kinda similar to starks

Watch the lakers get Jalen Brunson and Mitch

Clean @ 5/31/2022 12:12 AM

I know summer workout videos are not worth much but I just like to see our guys working on their craft even if it won't mean anything once the season starts. The exception is Mitch shooting 3's when he won't even attempt anything not a dunk or layup in a game. I turn those videos off right away.

martin @ 5/31/2022 7:54 AM
I can't really substantiate it but I think the Knicks are VERY high on IQ and just love him. You can see he is a connector/leader type for the young guys and is probably a nexus for them working out and training together. You need guys like that on your team. Does is mean he is untouchable? No, but I think it would take a lot for the Knicks to move him.

It was fun for me to watch him grow this season. Can't wait to see what's next.

I think the Knicks are all in for developing the young guys and sticking with them. They are doing it right.
